May I know how can one do that connecting to PC to hit recovery mode
For those interested, this is the phone recovery mode

browsing in chrome is ocassionally very lagging lately.. not sure if its chrome issue or the phone.. seems that its doing hard work to render the images from websites.. Uncle do you face this issue?

sometime i think maybe i installed too many apps and many of them running something in background.. maybe i should trim down my installed apps.. this phone is not very smooth lately

I NEVER use chrome in all my Androids. I consider it to be the worst browser. Google needs a lot of work on it. However Chrome is the best on my Mac vs Safari or Firefox
I prefer Dolphin or Boat n absolutely no lag

When I first hit the bootloop problem I spent about 30mins trying all combinations wondering why it couldn't get into recovery. Out of desperation I plugged it in to the pc and tried the button combo again and it worked. ....

Rather strange way to get into recovery.

How many apps did you install?

There was a report in xda about Chrome lagging badly after Chrome got updated. You could try other browsers.

Then when I noticed the phone start to lag, I decide to restart..

Currently, I had rooted the device and at B002 Rom.

Try safe mode.

Reboot while pressing vol up and down together.

You will see the default home screen with the words Safe Mode.

Uninstall Whatsapp+ and reboot.

Let us know what happens.

I want this tablet ,just for internet browsing and gaming. I have two question:
1- Did this gadget is suitable for 3D heavy games like N.O.V.A 3 and GTA SanAndres and CallofDuty?

2- I read some reviews ,claimed this device is a bit laggy. That is true?
If replace EmotionUI with other Launcher like NOVA, Lag problem will solve?

Ya it seems that it's chrome issues.. I'm using dolphin since yesterday, the lag gone..

Need for Speed Most Wanted runs fine. I don't have other 3d games installed since I use this mainly for browsing and reading.

Intermittently you can say there is some stuttering but 1-2 seconds won't kill you.

Good device overall for ~USD350.

Yes, i tried

GTA San Andreas (med setting, if you go for high setting , the games may crash)
Nova 3 abs. no FPS dropping
Dead Trigger 2, high temp, FPS drop 5%
and I'm still trying Asphalt 8 and Tower Of Savior [Eng Ver, High settings]

and about 2D,

no lag at all

decided to flash 4.2 back into my x1..kitkat failed to recognize my x1 as a tablet.most apps are on phone mode and got certain apps that last time ok on 4.2 but ko on 4.4 like cimbclicks..

I wonder ,why gadget like Galaxy SIII with Mali400 GPU ,can run GTA SanAndreas in High setting without lag and Mediapad X1 may crash !
I expect higher graphics from Mali 450 MP4.

Did you test other launcher instead of stock EmotionUI?
Laggy keeps on or gone?

Emo UI? not laggy at once
but i prefer Nova Launcher

and about GPU, yes... much higher than 400 (450M4 : 480Mhz yeah still kicking and Mali400: 420Mhz and even that, My N4 w Adreno 320 also wins 400 man, haha )

Exynos 4412 on the S3 was probably a 5th gen product and very mature on the driver side. Samsung has been producing cpus for many years as well and was tops in performance before Qualcomm woke up.

Huawei got into the game with the K3Vx family only about 2 years ago.

I'm sure their drivers can do with some tuning.

Drivers mature in samsung products is a fact
But SIII antutu is 17000 and X1 is 22000 , but SIII run GTA smoothly and X1 just in Mid graphic is OK!!!!!!
So antutu benchmark results is not criterion or ......
I confused .........

Not because X1 proses more pixel?S3 is 720p only while X1 is 1020p.

lol.. u root it and inject Xposed module, install the android tuner to check it out..

the clock is 480Mhz on GPU

hi. been using this device since june,
1. yeah emotion ui is laggy, used adw launcher(simple n less laggy).
2. mali 450 mp4 gpu in this device have enough juice for heavy 3D games. gta san andreas,asphalt8,nfs run,fifa14,modern combat 4,every games works well,never try NOVA but modern combat 5 not compatible with this device. Able to install but lag as hell.
