Taiwan firmware on tablet mode or phone mode?

So Malaysian firmware not much different from German firmware.I think I'll just stay with German firmware until got other major updates. Android L maybe.

After using this device I finally can understand those complaint about android not so great on tablet yet compared to ios.Although I haven't try any iPad yet.

I hope Google will address this issues in the next Android update.Android L maybe.

The update is quite slow for Malaysian unit compared to Chinese version.Stable for average consumer not for power user.

Front camera don't have auto focus.

Do you guys have delay when typing?

Much more prone on browser like when replying on lowyat forum.

But seems fine in app , massaging , notes etc.

Im using Samsung charger with my power bank cable charge very fast.The power bank cable dont transfer data it's purely for charging.

Might be hardware issues then.I never face this problem before.I tested both class4 & class10 card without any problems. Do pay a visit with Huawei service center for them to check.

Seems 1GB ram not enough already for today standard then.Wonder why Apple still refuse to bump it up to 2GB.Even their new iPad is still 1GB ram.Although most site and review say iPad eco system is much better then android tablet.I need to try my sister iPad mini when I get back to my hometown to see the difference. I don't understand Google... Nexus6 have 64GB option but not their Nexus9 tablet. Come on tablet is media consumption device give us extra storage. Google like to ruin my dream.

My TV just 32" and need chrome cast...my TV not so smart.I usually bring it around so would be insane if I bring my TV around... Hehe...

Aiming for Nexus 9 currently but only have 32GB option. Wonder if it can support portable external hard drive with OTG or not.One off my favorite function on my X1.

Huawei Ascend Mate2 not getting KK not even 18 month cycle yet.But on comments it say they focusing on Lollipop. Skip straight to Lollipops or will we be stuck on KK only since Huawei doesn't seems to care about the 18 month of software support like Google stated.

I really love this device but it software is just way behind others top OEM.But the hardware is top notch.Battery , screen , signals , design , camera , Soc , ram it's all there waiting to be unleashed.

This tablet good for great for reading , battery life excellent , calling not sure but better get handsfree it would be a challenge holding this device when calling for a long hour.Under good lighting camera is good on low light like indoor not so great.Smoothness is good unless you come from Nexus @ Apple products.

Z3 Compact Tablet would win hands down on spec alone.Front facing speaker. Waterproof and Android upgrade. Huawei kinda just leave their devices software behind.

Nope it will be phone mode.Example YouTube will be in phone mode.Most apps will recognize it as phone not tablet. Even CoC recognize it as phone.

I prefer tablet mode though with this big screen. Just my personal preference.

Hope we get lollipop it looks great on tablet.

Wonder if I regret also if change to Nexus 9.

Im not going to carry it around that much.My only concern is storage & aspect ratio.Early review doesn't seems show N9 have good result. Maybe wait the price drop also.

I treat my X1 like a tablet more than a phone.That's why I prefer tablet mode.Lollipop looks great on tablet. I hope we get to at least that upgrade or no more Huawei for me.

Only the dpi change on the rom or apps will detect it as tablet?I really want YouTube on tablet mode.
