Uncle benny regarding to this thread what is your opinion? can Flash Malaysian to Chinese and vice versa .

China version can also supported in Malaysia.

Thanks
*
I had failed twice trying to flash China rom on my 501L
That was earlier firmware
For LTE the China set can only use one of the 2 bands available here. 1800mhz is not supported

No problem using 64gb card...why would you think it cannot. Infact practically all the newer phones these days can support up to 64gb

Regarding to the specs. it says 32GB.

I first I try incompatible microSD then I insert to Galaxy Note GT-N7000 and copy files to it then unmount and reinsert in MediaPad X1 then it is acceptable

Thanks

SIM Toolkit not available when I run SIM Toolkit app.

WiFi activity always shows on in battery status though I had already turn off?

Antutu benchmark KitKat - 26185 Jellybean - 27214 what's wrong any ideal why?

If I flash CWM recovery could I update via OTA again?

Thanks?

CWM does not have the code to trigger OTA update. You need to reflash stock recovery for any official ROM updates.

One method I can think of, but haven't tried, is to extract the update.app and repack as a CWM image. I suspect this can be done using the HuaweiUpdateExtractor and a CWM packager.

Use app flashify to backup stock recovery n restore it when necessary
Or flash the stock recovery image using fastboot command

That Taiwan version is very old firmware. You should download latest Msian firmware. You can use existing ext sdcard n make sure it has 5gb free space. No need to backup but if you need to , you must use CWM . To update firmware you must revert back to stock recovery
You can only use 503l firmware
Try flash back stock recovery
At terminal :
fastboot flash recovery stock_recovery.img

You can get the stock recovery image from XDA
The Mate7 full zip ( for install CWM) has a folder with the stock recovery
Copy this image into same folder where you had the adb/fastboot commands installed

Thanks uncle benny for the guide, i already updated to OTA-7D-501LV100R002C209B_B12.
Thing i have notice is the native keyboard is much more easy to use.
Don't know about battery life.
Contacts/phone/favourite crash 2 times, all white colour screen, need to restart. There is no option to merge/ separate contacts.

The native browser is a turn down, previous version , when zoom in the paragraph will arrange itself to fit the screen, this version cannot, it just enlarge, need to scroll to the left to read whole sentences( any solution?).
I cannot import the google bookmarks into this browser( something wrong?)

I just flashed to the latest China ROM 7D-503LV100R002C208B009
The changes are subtle. Phone is beautified a lot

First big noticeable change is the navigation bar. It is changed to lollipop style

The pull down navigation panel is also changed. It now has 2 sections. Swipe from the top left screen and it will be notifications and swipe from the top right screen and it will be shortcuts. Both sections are displayed at the top most and changeable by pressing the word displayed on the top most

Google Playstore and Google Play services are easy, just install it from Huawei App Center. Do take note that after install Playstore, Gogle Play services will be updated. Just leave it for a while before installing apps. Don't be surprised if the apps won't install, it is due to Play services not updated to latest

I'm still using the default launcher and I noticed newly installed apps have a shinning animation on the icon

The free RAM is also more than the previous version. To be fair I haven't fully restored all apps, but currently with only Google apps installed I have just slightly over 1GB free RAM

This is definitely a step up from the previous version. The changes are small but subtle and noticeable
Feels like using a new tablet
