Switch off phone. Try boot into recovery mode by pressing vol down n power button simultaneously for 10 sec. FROM recovery menu select wipe data n reboot
If this fail send in servicecenter to reflash firmware

Uncle have read through this question million and zillions of time but still need your expert experience Xperia Z Ultra or Medaipad X1 7.0 ?

Build quality build seems Xperia but overall performance and value for now which is better.

Performance not much difference but non HW users will say XZU performs better cos its SD chip!!! Somehow many users only look highly at SD chip!
X1 for its bigger display, easily 2-2.5x battery life vs XZU, very very much better phone speakers. XZU due to its waterproof has extra membrane on speakers making it unsuitable to view videos/ listen audio in noisier environment. It sounds ok if you are alone in a very quiet room. I faced missed call quite often as I missed it while it ring
Go for X1 if you don't mind the size , else XZU

To add to uncle Benny's response, you get the X1 BECAUSE of the SIZE, and secondarily the battery life.

It is to date the ONLY fully pocketable 7" 1920x1200 display device with LTE Cat5. I use it very often as a hotspot when my Note4's signal is crap.

The only real downside is a lack of development on this device since it is only sold officially in Europe, China, ASEAN, and the ROM sources have not been released. However, I've learned to live with that, and use it as a fully portable computer with email and MSOffice document access.

The latest version of the rom, which was released on Jan 9th, is quite good. The only problem I have is I can't get my launcher to stay as default. I use Go launcher and even tried Apex launcher. When I press the home key, it always defaults to the EMUI launcher. Is there a way to fix this?

Go to settings/manage app scroll down to bottom n select default app settings and choose default lsuncher

China 503l doesn't seem to support local LTE bands ( 1800, 2600 mhz) n easily check their specs on the web
Some users here are using it n perhaps they can clarify
You can only flash 503L rom or 503L custom rom n not 501L rom simply the LTE hardware is different between them
Is already soo cheap here n why even bother to buy China version?
And he need install CWM to flash set of google app which is absent in China set

Hi all. I Just bought my X1 from huawei dealer at wangsa walk two days ago n I love this device so far. But one thing, I need help from u all...my device current version is 4.2.2 , 7D-501LV100R001C209B002. I try to upgrade to kk 4.4 via OTA but already two days than, Im still can't get the upgrade yet via OTA...I can't upgrade by manually because I don't have computer or notebook etc...OTA is the only way...any point I miss or any solution from u guys ? I have both malaysia 7d-501L and China 7d-503L set with me. Both work fine here. The china set, 7d-503L lte work here, I have tried with Digi LTE, Umobile LTE and Maxis LTE. All work with no issue. So no worry buying China set, except warranty and need to manually install google services.

I have also change my local set 7d-501L firmware to 7d-503L firmware and it work fine. I have been using it for 2 months.

Download it from the links in post 2 or post 4. Unzip, place it on your SDcard and reboot, following instructions. Remove SDcard when instructed to do so.

Uncle benny regarding to this thread what is your opinion? can Flash Malaysian to Chinese and vice versa .

China version can also supported in Malaysia.
