Some of you may wonder, like me, how is the endgame content in Wildstar? Is the content rich enough to sustain players to top up their subscriptions and continue playing? Most of the games I tried may have a cool gimmick, which makes us start and play the game – but thereafter fail at providing sufficient end game content.
This is one of those games where some people may tell you that “the real game starts at max level”.
Lets take look at some of the early level50 PvE content and why reviews call this game the game that is "Setting the New MMO Standard"
About Elder Points
On the day your experience bar (XP bar) maxes out and you “DING!!! 50!!!”, the XP bar is replaced with an Elder Points bar (EP bar). Each time the bar increases thereafter, you will earn EP – up to a maximum of 140 EP per week (Weekly Cap). EP is used as an additional in game currency for various endgame activities and gears (similar to WoW’s Valor Points). There are a few ways you can cap your EP for the week – Vet Adventures, Vet Dungeons, Daily Quests or PvP.

The moment you have 150 EP, I would suggest the first thing to obtain is the “Genesis Key” from the Elder Vendor. The moment you equip the key, it will unlock a long chain quest for your raid attunement that enables you to raid. The chain quest will involve personal quests, group quests, vet adventures, vet dungeons, killing of world bosses, etc.
About Daily Quests
There are now 3 maps to complete daily quests. Each map shall have a mixture of solo-able content and group content. These maps are Crimson Badlands, Northern Wastes and Blighthaven. All these maps have reputation with some sweet rewards. Completing daily quests gives you reputation to buy items from quartermasters, costumes (you wear on top of your armour), gold (or platinum) and EP. In essence, even if you do not do adventures or dungeons, you will be able to reach our weekly cap just via daily quests.

About Veteran (Vet) Adventures
Your will have a choice of 4 vet adventures you can go to, and the genesis key will ask you to complete every one of them. Each Adventure requires 5 players (Tank, Heals, DPS) and has multiple choices enabling you to try different outcomes, different storyline and fight different bosses. Upon completion of the adventure, you will be granted a Rank – Gold, Silver, Bronze, Fail.
Gold rank is required to earn you a confirmed purple gear [epic], silver or bronze will typically earn you blue gears [lesser quality] only.
1. Crimelords of Whitevale [CRIMELORDS]

In this adventure, you are a group of gangsters trying to create a name for your gang while trying to solve a crime. The choices in this adventure enables you to build alliances with other gangs, start a gang war, trade black market goods, avoid the police, burn down other gang’s base (and more) as what you would do if you were a mobster.
Personally I find Crimelords amongst the easiest and straight forward adventure with the least amount of uncertainty. As long as you complete all the objectives of each task (including timed tasks) with no deaths, you should be able to earn Gold Rank with no issues.
The adventure has +2 epic drops for Gold Rank.
2. War of the Wilds [WOTW]

For MOBA fans - This is a similar to a DotA-style adventure. There are 2 bases, 3 lanes, uncontrollable creeps and 5 champions (heroes) per side. The objective of the game is to destroy the enemy base and kill enemy champions. You will control one of 5 champions group of 5 will compete against 5 AI champions.
There are flags (power cores) plated throughout the map. The game starts with these flags being neutral. As you capture more flags, you get more creeps and they become stronger until they over run the enemy base. There are 3 optional bosses that the group can choose to kill, which will enable the group to buff your creeps making them stronger, giving the group additional advantage to win.
There is an element of uncertainty here, as midway through the game you will receive optional quests. Though some are relatively easy, sometimes you get a quest that is ridiculously hard for the timeframe given. You will need to complete your optional quests and have +5 more hero kills (champion) than the other team to earn Gold Rank.
This adventure has +1 epic drop for Gold Rank
3. Malgrave’s Trail [Malgrave]

Malgrave’s Trail is pretty much an escort quest through a desert. The storyline starts with your group rescuing a group of survivors from a ravaged town. Thereafter the caravan master will seek your help to escort the caravan through the desert to safe haven.
The caravan will start with 30 members and 100 of each resource (Food, Water, Feed). As you travel through the desert, your resources will deplete and you will need your group members to scavenge the desert for resources to keep the caravan going. The caravan will constantly come under attack and you will need to defend the caravan. Also, the caravan will have a fatigue bar that will keep going up. At selection locations, you will have the option to make camp and rest to reduce the fatigue bar. In order to achieve Gold Rank, simply keep all 30/30 caravan members alive until the journey ends.
There is a slight element of uncertainly (random events) that might happen during your journey which might cause you to fail. One of your members might go missing and you will have to search for him/her within a certain timeframe. Else, your might be attacked by desert flies and disease, where you will need cure the caravan. There might be surprise attacks on the caravan, so make sure you always have group members nearby. This will be the most draggy, long and gruesome adventure so far.
This adventure has +2 epic drops for Gold Rank.
4. Siege of tempest Refuge [Siege]

Siege is Wildstar’s version of tower defense. The objective is to protect a generator inside a base. There are three(3) access points to the base – North, South and Mid. The group is given 5 solders to be placed throughout the map in order to defend the access points. These solders have the ability to be upgraded after every wave. There are numerous upgrade paths that you can choose from to make the soldiers stronger/provide buffs/different effects.
There will be numerous types of mobs that will attack randomly from either lane. These mobs will include Melee Troops, Ranged Troops, Stealth Troops, Tanks, Bunkers and many more. Every three waves, the group will need to fight a random boss. Though some bosses are harder than others, they also have different loot tables. This adventure also features a “Morale” bar which will gradually drop throughout the adventure and even more if you die. The more your morale drops, the less damage/healing you do – making the challenge harder and harder.
The main RNG here is the direction of which the ads spawn – meaning if you are fighting a tank in north, coupled with a bunker in south and then stealth units in mid… you might have some difficulty, especially if you are at low morale. Else it’s a fairly straight forward adventure.
In order to achieve Gold Rank, you will need to complete the Adventure (5/5 waves) with your generator >95%. This adventure drops +1 epic drops for Gold Rank.
Chain Quest
After you have obtained Silver Rank or better in ALL these adventures, your Genesis Key will lead you to another epic chain quest (Pacific Rim style). Once you have completed this quest, then you are required to complete all Veteran Dungeons with Silver Rank or better.

Veteran Dungeons
This will be the hardest part of the attunement quest by far. The four(4) Veteran Dungeons are crazy hard and super punishing for the average player. These four(4) veteran Dungeons respectively are – Veteran Stormtalon’s Lair [Stormtalon], Veteran Kel Voreth [Kel Voreth], Veteran Skullcano [Skullcano] and Veteran Sanctuary of the Sword Maiden [SOTS].

World Bosses
Each map will have its very own world boss. These world bosses are raid-sized epic bosses that will need a raid sized group to bring down.
More information on world bosses soon.
After a completing a long and challenging attunement process... players are then able to enter their first 20-man raid. It is almost as if Carbine is preparing players, honing their skills in order to enter raids. Least we know that players that do manage to get attuned, has what it takes to raid.
