Thank You all for the enlightenment. You guys are really good and knowledgeable. I wish I was such and able to decide on which car to buy.  sad.gif :-(  sad.gif  confused.gif  confused.gif

My loan just got approved for Mondeo. Mondeo is so rare, I have never seen 1 on the road yet. Plus it is fairly the newer car comparable with the new passat B8. Worried if Autoconexion's tech can repair it if there are problems.  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

However, Passat B7's price is so irresistible  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

I did saw it before (1 or 2 times, 1 unit), but it is really RARE or called EPIC? (oops...played too much online games... shakehead.gif )

I like the Mondeo all features, soooo cool!!!

Congra first! cool2.gif

Piston crack mostly on 1.4 tsi.. But not as frequent as the infamous dsg.. BTW, the mechatronic depends very much on driving style n weather condition during operation.. But the problem have been lesser nowadays. Lutch wear n tear can't be avoided. I changed to Audi clutch plate.. According to them can last longer as it's diff frm the one used by vw . I don't know if it's true tongue.gif

If the Car is under warranty, can we change to Audi's clutch pad? Will it void the warranty? thumbup.gif

i test drive latest mondeo (mk5) .it much comfort (NVH) and the seat well hugging compare to previous model mk4

even tho it it using the same engine. normal torq converter less fun to drive compare to DCT. it wet clutch and so far never heard mondeo /tdci focus owner complaint about it

for driving experience. mondeo mk4 much better than mk5. front exterior real looking...but the rear end....face lift mk5 even looks finished product

Agreed : MK4 sportier and more nimble. But this mk5 exterior is so masculine... Interior is just plain and simple.

I'm getting a pre-reg Mondeo at RM151, 1 year old car with 4000km clocked. RM190k is beyond my budget. nod.gif
