Same issue here. Did you try other camera app instead of MIUI default camera?

I tried Google Camera, got the same weird focusing issue.
It attempt to refocus after every shot but it don't focus the right place.

Well, guess it is the camera firmware then.

Mi3 camera is same with Note 3 if I am right.

1. Yes, because to enable me get updates from G+, FB, Whatsapp, Gmail, email, & many more..
2. Not sure if u can set the data usage expiration date.. can't find it myself.. as I can see, MIUI only able to monitor from day 1 till end of the month.

mostly i will use this camera app.
very good focusing + tons of feature to play with 

cuz i also dono where i dl-ed it from.
i think from mi market if not wrong.
the real app name in chinese, but after i dl n install it become english name "my cam"

to prevent focus and refocus, simply tab on the area you want to focus UNTIL THE PICTURE IS SNAP. It will automatically take the picture after obtaining focus in that are.

There's a reason why MIUI is following iOS.

The greatest thing about MIUI/iOS is that we can uninstall App straight from launcher itself.

Insteadd of listening to other's opinions, why don't you just try to apply a few themes and see what happen? It's quite easy to apply. If you don't like it, you can always delete the installed theme anytime you want. As simple as that. No harm for trying new things, right?

try download sdmaid or others cleaning app to clear ur leftover files..

Yes i noticed some residue file still in my phone despite uninstall, i use OI File Manager which can show all the file & manually removed them.

Smartphone cannot install apps would be meaningless isn't it. 

No worry bro. Miui v5 is unique. After you uninstall certain apps/files, some cache sure would be kept inside the phone storage. But you can use Miui's cleaner app to clean it up. And you don't have to worry about on what time you should clean it because the cleaner app would inform you to act accordingly once the useless cache reach certain limits.

My real experience: Last night when I browsed through the phone, a reminder showed up and told me there's 350 mb of useless files inside the phone. I tapped it, run the cleaner, retrieved the 350mb. All these happened in 10 secs.

I "may" found a solution to Whatsapp sound robotic/autobot/dinobot,

Setting - Sound - Disable the vibration with beat.

I said "may" coz initially i have same issue, but after the setting, my whatapp voice message crystal clear, but i cannot 100% confirm the cause, then again no harm trying.

i just installed from Mi market. No issue. But i am on Dev ROM.

Reboot it,  btw r u on stable  or dev rom? 

Try one more thing  go into  whatapp - setting - notification  - vibration off.

maybe it's time you jump ship to dev rom? 

Reboot @ restart @ on /off your phone.
