I faced 2 problem with Mi3 camera :-
1. the camera is constantly trying to focus, re-focus and re-focus, it won't stop. It means that the timing for the pressing of shutter is critical, if you press the shutter while it is refocusing, the picture is very very blur. How to stop this constant focus and re-focus issue? 2. is there any ways to set the camera that it will only capture the picture at its sharpest moment? |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jul 7 2014, 03:22 PM) I tried Google Camera, got the same weird focusing issue. I dont need any fancy features incorporated, merely demand for a simple clear picture for my safekeeping. It attempt to refocus after every shot but it don't focus the right place. Well, guess it is the camera firmware then. Mi3 camera is same with Note 3 if I am right. The focus, re-focus and re-focus thing is very annoying to me QUOTE(kamikraze @ Jul 7 2014, 03:27 PM) 1. Yes, because to enable me get updates from G+, FB, Whatsapp, Gmail, email, & many more.. Ya, important feature that mi3 lacked of -> anti-shake, many times not due to hand shaking, it could be the environment, eg, driving on a bumpy road.2. Not sure if u can set the data usage expiration date.. can't find it myself.. as I can see, MIUI only able to monitor from day 1 till end of the month. 1. ur hand shaking? 2. use phone stand could help what is Gravity Screen? |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Jul 8 2014, 01:49 PM) Insteadd of listening to other's opinions, why don't you just try to apply a few themes and see what happen? It's quite easy to apply. If you don't like it, you can always delete the installed theme anytime you want. As simple as that. No harm for trying new things, right? I dare not simply install apps/ theme now.... From my past experience, though you uninstall the games/ apps/ themes, it will still kept some files/ folders/ something associated apps that I might not know (found out through usb plug-in and surprised that folders for uninstalled apps still kept in my phone). Worried this may eventually affect the phone performance or maybe it won't but I am not a very IT savvy person, instead of putting myself in dilemma of to delete or not to delete those files, got to think twice before install. |

QUOTE(wcnew @ Jul 8 2014, 02:05 PM) QUOTE(jolokia @ Jul 8 2014, 02:08 PM) Yes i noticed some residue file still in my phone despite uninstall, i use OI File Manager which can show all the file & manually removed them. Smartphone cannot install apps would be meaningless isn't it. QUOTE(Max2006 @ Jul 8 2014, 02:10 PM) No worry bro. Miui v5 is unique. After you uninstall certain apps/files, some cache sure would be kept inside the phone storage. But you can use Miui's cleaner app to clean it up. And you don't have to worry about on what time you should clean it because the cleaner app would inform you to act accordingly once the useless cache reach certain limits. ok ok.... will take note and try try, thanks for your kind sharing~ My real experience: Last night when I browsed through the phone, a reminder showed up and told me there's 350 mb of useless files inside the phone. I tapped it, run the cleaner, retrieved the 350mb. All these happened in 10 secs. |

QUOTE(jolokia @ Jul 8 2014, 03:29 PM) I "may" found a solution to Whatsapp sound robotic/autobot/dinobot, Disabled d, still the same... Setting - Sound - Disable the vibration with beat. I said "may" coz initially i have same issue, but after the setting, my whatapp voice message crystal clear, but i cannot 100% confirm the cause, then again no harm trying. |
