i prefer MIUI launcher. i used mini and still giving me problems, what worse, it killed my apps and i can do proper multitask. like in browser, every time i re-launch browser app, all my tabs are gone. but not happen if i use MIUI launcher.

Android have lags. No one told you that? doh.gif But the lag is not really that bad. I think you are not a good person. Because "Patience is Virtue". You have no patience at all. You have attitude problem.

Yep, got that out of the way and glove mode. crazy sensitive.

I hovered my finger above the lock screen, and it went crazy. No thanks to such feature.

Cheers.

well, if you no longer want Mi3, you don't have to say it here. Are you trolling? I'm sure you really have bad attitude now.

Actually, with every iteration of iOS, iphone also lags & crashes, just that it's barely noticeable in newer & faster iphones.

I noticed it when from 3GS > 4 > 5 though some guys won't notice anything at all laugh.gif

For Mi3, if i put in performance settings, if i opened too many apps then only lag a bit sweat.gif

For my Nexus, i need to put Kernel at performance instead of ondemand & min freq at least 300MHz for smooth scrolling/opening apps.

IOS is almost always smoother and more efficient as its customized to a single phone spec. Its much more stable but lack customization features unless you jailbreak. So if you want to change back to IOS, be prepared to pay 3 times the price you pay for MI3 tho. The massive price differences is the one that "encourage" many to just bear with the slight delay vs $$$ lost.

Which Samsung model that you use?

//OT
Samsung phone lag due to bloat ware. use custom rom and walla you will see the different

I do own p780, Xz, mi3 (all of them already sold off) and S3 with 4.4.4 custom rom. Normal usage I hardly notice any lag between them.

For my s3, if 4.3 stock rom mmg lag kaw2 >_>

isnt it ridiculous to compare with iphone.

you should also compare iphone vs android the following to be fair
how many sharing method?
Flexibility in installing 3rd party app
Real time multi tasking
Storage capability with memory card
Flexible customization
removable battery
File transfer and limitation like downloading mp3 and some other files
Price tag
Features
Functions

When you compare with the above for a person that requires flexibility iphone is a joke.

Why are you comparing a phone that cost 2399 iphone vs xiaomi 3 at RM700+++ isnt that ridiculous?

If you think iphone its easier means your mind have challenges in adapting to the new environment that the reason why iphone creates an environment with tons of limitation but smooth so your mind will move slowly so when you change to something faster you feel uncomfortable outside your comfort zone. Those that wakes up from that world adapt well to android.

Usually a person that owns android easily able to adapt to iphone but most hard fan of iphone have alot of challenges adapting android that the first sign of limitation in your mind as plan by apple.

That's why for fare ios vs android comparison, Nexus is the right choice or AOSP/AOKP rom.

Well.. depends on your usage la... some people even use iphone 5s also will lag.

U said " theres lag in its OS. I use same app, open same app with my iPhone"

Do you mind to share what apps u using? Perhaps we can try to diagnose the problem for u...

Maybe the apps not mature enough in Android platform. So if its lag, its the apps problem.

When I bought my first android, I was like this also.
In the world of comparison, there are many school of thoughts on how to compare, some purely on specs, some on software, some overall, and nothing wrong there actually.

He chose to compare in general on what he "sees" & "feels" which is subjective, we just have to accept as is and enjoy tongue.gif

About app maturity, this is true also.

I developed few apps for fun, and even with all my android devices, damn hard to get a right balance, it will work fine with one but lags on the other.

Maybe because I have noob knowledge doh.gif

Good morning.
Plan to root my phone based on the guide on page 1.
Tutorial Guide #1
How to Root MI3

My question is, am I still able to update to official MIUI firmware when it's available in "System Updates"?
Thanks.
