Next question, worth getting the powerbank or not? I never used a powerbank before. Never have the need for one. Cause my battery phone never reach critical level before. My previous desire s and my current zr can push 3 days if I don't on wifi/3g.

If want to have less problem with the phone OS, I would suggest get the local set. The main reason is.......google play pre-installed without any issue to casual non-tech smartphone user. If get AP, they're using Mi-Store. For me its a big hassle for a casual user to install Google Play from Mi-store, then divert, etc. Get something that works straight from bootup. I know you might be able to install everything for her but its really your choice.

As for bugs, you think other brands no bugs kah! Even now, my S4 entire widgets will stop updating on screen and had to reboot every day or 2 to get it to work again (mobile data problem, everything activate/deactivate, it will have high chances of activating that bug).

I've gotten MI3 for both my wife and daughter. They loves it. Both of them keep mentioning it looks good and its super fast when surfing net thru Wi-Fi (better than my S4...of course lar, speed wise, cannot match anymore). I have not hear any issue on phone calls or sms from then so far, except that we have to put +6 in front of all contact numbers to ensure any sms comes in will show the contact name.

I don't know how long these phones will last but it looks to have decent makes, no better nor lousy than any other brands but at this price, I can get a replacement phone at a much shorter interval with upgraded specs rather than stay with a RM2K phone that have to last me much longer due to cost factor.

Wah, thanks for the reply. I will never buy any samsung shit cause I heard a lot of bad things about them. Ok, will definitely try my luck at local set.

Guys, please don't be so harsh on me. I did my homework. Read all reviews for this phone. But there are not enough reviews to make up my mind.

Only I didn't read alll v11 of the forums. Just bits and pieces. Too much people commenting about delivery, raging.

Actually I'm thinking of going Samsung Note 4 shit for my next phone. You really should not rely on "hearing" bad things to judge a phone. There might be 10 bad things abt Samsung but there might be 100 good things abt it as well. Problem is when discussion problem, ppl tends to complain here and there thus making that 10 bad things seems like 100 instead. Chances are most satisfied users enjoyed the 100 good things and did not bother mention it to anyone, that's how ppl are.....10 good things hidden and complain like hell abt 1 bad things.

Walao....I cannot thing liao....oh..think.

I actually like Samsung high end phones. Still has its advantage and for phablets with digitizer (pen) feature, its still has not found a real match...yet.

Actually not from reading on forums or anything. Five of my friends have issue with their samsung. 2 of them charge with powerbank, it died. Both are S3

Another one is battery drain in less than 6 hours. S3

Two of them complain samsung damn lag. S3 and S4.

This one I read from lowyat forum. Someone said they saw long queue at Samsung SC. This one I read from another article. It mentioned that Samsung choose plastic to enable them to mass produce their Galaxy. Samsung own words.

I do think that the note line (not its variance) are of higher quality compare to galaxy s line

But all this are off topic.

Why u should buy a Z1C instead of Mi3

5.) 3 years from now Sony may have higher chances to be still arround compare to Xiaomi.

*
I highly doubt that cause Sony's finances is decreasing year by year.

Actually yes and no. When I heard about mi3, google the specs, and price in RM, I was blown away. That time, I decided if I were to replace my sony, it will be a mi. For what I pay so much for a phone with similar specs when I can get a phone with last year specs at such a low price? WIth Google's Android Hugo Bara with xiaomi, I am sure they are high quality phone.

Then I read about the bugs of the mi3 and how it was not fix. That was when I start having doubts. That is why my other choice was z1c. Having good experience with my zr. Naturally, I will pick zr successor which is z1c.
