I did buy 2 dino of this kind, but not the picture you show.
The picture you show is deluxe version, more bigger and expensive.

this is good for learning process, but somehow the price is kinda steep for parents to buy for their children, if it is as pricy as as discussed here.

how about those dig-a-dino thingy sold in toy'r'us? iinm the price is lower than myr 100.00

Most probably isn't really a hit here locally since parents already bought toys for themselves tongue.gif

But in any case, for MYR 100.00 +/-, if given the chance, I would probably go for LEGO for my kids. The price is still too steep IMHO.

Err.... but I think better search PAPO at taobao.
Papo actually is the original of this type.
And the colour sure is more realistic. It actually nearest like the movie in Jurassic Park style.
Even JP own product toys can't do that kind of detail.
Can go to the main site have a look do some research if really want them. brows.gif

Here come some size comparison, hope it correct anyway.

Kaiyodo T-Rex & Triceratops skull bones is sure 1/35 scale size with 4D Master Vision T-Rex
user posted image

Another side of 4D Master Vision T-Rex
user posted image

I think all of them (below pic) are in 1/48 or 1/50 scale cuz 1/43 scale juz not rite at all.
Behind the 2 dino was 4D Master puzzle Amargasaurus and Ceratosaurus. The size nearly correct I think.

Wow. never noticed that 4D masters in still around. Cause didn't saw them in stores for quite some time already. sweat.gif
All my dinosaurs were collected somehow around 2003 to 2007 if I'm not mistaken. All bought in Toys R Us. I was still in primary school at the time.
These dinosaurs came packaged in Eggs if i'm not mistaken and everytime you buy it you would have to assemble them by yourself.
I will post pictures later on.

BTW guys, the new theory updated about what we know on Spinosaurus.
In JP3 appeared spinosaurus is stand up straight actually was wrong,
cuz the legs of the spinosaurus is small, and sure was a good swimmer in the river.
This new theory is proved by National Geographic can be search on Google.
Here some new theory pics of spinosaurus.

New found guys. Anyone interest this new brand can be found at TaoBao already.
The brand call Rebor®, so far they already product 2 dinosaurs,
King T-rex and Yutyrannus (Y-Rex).
Size scale is 1/35, very good detail like PAPO even better, got display base. thumbup.gif

Ya, Papo did product some new dino this year.
If talk about quality realistic look, may be can arrange like this:
SideShow's Dinosauria --> Rebor (new) --> Papo
And the price tag also same high to low.
Juz my own review after searching on web, didn't mean anything. tongue.gif

Must see what dino you want,
from RMB175 ~ RMB288 so far.
The size is fit in 1/35 scale,
so the dino size is different with prices.
Give you the TaoBao page have a look:

hmm.gif IMHO, if choose on Papo and Rebor,
I will have take Rebor.
Cuz it really was way better, all dino got it own display stand,
and yes the fit scale is great.
Unlike other brands didn't actually know what is the scale really are,
and all the dino size is a confuse.... rclxub.gif

Rebor news, coming soon...

REBOR T-rex VS Triceratops diorama features three acts, Act One: Conquest, Act Two: Sorrow, Act Three: Revenge.
We have released the Firs Act which is the King T-rex, now it’s about time to move on to the Second Act.
This is a 1:35 scale prototype sculpture of a 7 metre long female adult Triceratops, we named her “The Fallen Queen”.
Brave but simply cannot match the might of the King T-rex, she was stricken down and faded like a rose in the storm.
Enough spoilers, now try to figure out what the Third Act will be....

If look for TaoBao with 1/35 scale only and the same seller,
the price should be like this below:

REBOR Dinosaur figures
Tyrannosaurus Rex (King T-Rex) = RMB 288
Yutyrannus Huali (Y-Rex) = RMB 225
Utahraptor Ostrommaysorum (Wind Hunter) = RMB 175
Ceratosaurus Dentisulcatus (Savage) = RMB 265

I think the price is relate with the dino size & the stand base.
So Acrocanthosaurus Atokensis (Hercules) should be nearly same price like T-rex.

TaoBao seller I refer price here:
http://shop58074998.world.taobao.com/index...104098.2.NrfcbV

Finally! REBOR 1:35 female Triceratops horridus corpse statue nickname "The Fallen Queen" will be released this month. Now don't just take her as "the base of King T-rex", She is actually a solid polystone statue with a rich paint application, the final product weights around 550 grams (King T-rex weights around 600 grams), therefore even without the King, she is still an impressive display piece on her own:)

By the way we know you guys love Ceratopsids as much as the Theropods, the good news is that we have figured out a way to allow you to collect many ceratopsian species in 1:35 scale (Protoceratops will be tiny!) without spending too much money (no it won't be the one body with lots of exchangeable heads thing). We will launch this project in 2016, so there will be lots of things to look forward to.

From REBOR

REBOR news....

user posted image

As now we are slowly heading into the Christmas season, we would like to introduce you Jolly’s good friend “Rudy” the Hatchling T-rex! This is another REBOR Christmas Special and yes like Jolly’s Santa hat, Rudy has a little reindeer antler headband ( we've also tried to give him a red nose, unfortunately it doesn't look good on him), if you had ever dressed up your pets with one of these then you will know how it works.

Rudy is Jolly’s companion piece, they were designed to go together and will both look great on your shelf with their interactive postures , every year you can always dress them up to bring more holiday spirit to your home during the Christmas season. So for those who have already adopted Jolly, Rudy also wants to go home with you!

Jolly and Rudy are not related to King T-rex and King Trident as they are both from the Baby-dino Land, they will never fight each other and will always be good friends forever. War is over if you want to, war is over now.

REBOR 1:6 scale Female Dimorphodon macronyx Museum Class Replica “Judy” with articulated lower jaw, a 20cm steel rod, a removable base and a small yet highly detailed prehistoric lizard as her prey. Judy is smaller than Punch in size, there is also a slight difference in colour scheme between them.

You have met Punch, you have met Judy, Now behold the combined diorama in its full glory! Simply drop the Punch’s base onto Judy’s base, and wa lah! There you have it, a display piece that good enough to enter any museum and now you can have it on your desk, how cool is that! The lizard is hiding somewhere, can you spot it? You can also put it inside their mouths, lots of display options are waiting for you to find out!

That blog got lot of NG review to all Rebor products.
Cuz most review stars given by kids, not adult.
Rebor is base on figure model not toys, so is bit unfair.
But most important is got lot of photos inside can refer,
the reviews and the voting stars can whether read or skip. tongue.gif

so some of the dinos look good some not. Skip the 3D modeling draw may be. hmm.gif

Color problem I think...
Schleich new production actually not so detail anymore,
but still OK anyway, and yes can't compare with Papo or Rebor.
But, if want different dinosaurs not main line dinosaurs,
Schleich and CollectA got a lot none main line dinosaurs for sure.
BTW Wild Safari Dinos also have a lot nice collectibles indeed. hmm.gif

Actually all this kind of Raptor size only half human tall, some bigger than dog, some smaller.
So 1/6 scale should be around our hand size only. If put it with common 1/6 scale action figures should be fantastic. thumbsup.gif
Anyway it still on kickstarter... but did see some website pre-order it for support except Taobao.

The con of this action figure is joining parts,
anyway is a action figure, can't complain too much.
1 raptor around USD 39.99 ~ 49.99... sweat.gif
Bigbadtoystore.com Search = Beasts of the Mesozoic

Check on official website they said below:
______________________________________________

Estimated to Ship in 1st Quarter 2019

“I give you… the resonating chamber of a Velociraptor.”
One of the most unexpected and goose-bump inducing moments in Jurassic Park /// was when Billy used an early predecessor of a 3D printer to present Dr. Grant with a Velociraptor Resonating Chamber. The spine-chilling sound produced by the Velociraptor Resonating Chamber instantly harkened back to all of the danger and excitement Dr. Grant experienced on Isla Nublar. This reproduced piece of Velociraptor skull also later played a key role in saving our heroes from certain death when they returned the stolen eggs to the Velociraptor pack.

Once we started making Jurassic Park collectibles, the fan community has repeatedly asked us to touch on Jurassic Park ///. Well, we at Chronicle Collectibles are thrilled to produce our very first offering from Jurassic Park ///: the 1:1 Velociraptor Resonating Chamber prop replica! For the first time ever, diehard Jurassic Park fans can now complete their collection with this limited edition & officially licensed 1:1 Velociraptor Resonating Chamber prop replica. The 1:1 Velociraptor Resonating Chamber prop replica includes a presentation stand featuring the Jurassic Park /// logo that will allow the piece to be displayed up or down.

Cast directly from the screen used prop, this life-size collectible will make the perfect display piece for your study or office. Regale your friends with the tale of the time you warded off a pack of Velociraptors on the island with our majestic 1:1 Velociraptor Resonating Chamber prop replica!

Please note: This is a static prop replica and is not intended to have a toy/play feature like sound.

They all look great for sure.
If u choose Rebor T-rex should get the "Fallen Queen" triceratops for stand base is more interesting.
Papo should be smaller scale than Rebor, Papo all figures around 1/40 scale, Rebor is 1/35 scale.

This Dilophosaurus doesn't really suit my taste. looks too cartoonish. They should included the frill as well, instead of giving you the template & print it out yourself.

But seriously Rebor need to work it out on the balance issue on its Dinosaur. My Rebor Killer Queen lean not too long after I got it.
I read some other review on their old dinosaur, seems alot also having that issue.

I already POED Nanmu carnotaurus, will post it up again when it arrive.

My next one will be on a more historical accurate dinosaur from PNSO, maybe doyle & sede.

Not sure how much though, This is their new Grab & Go line right?
I'm waiting for Nanmu Spino, should be release for PO anytime soon.
Although I'm waiting towards more to their mosasaurus.

Current 3 wish list:

Rebor GNG Spinosaurus
Rebor Stegosaurus
Nanmu Mosasaurus

As for Nanmu Spino, still have to wait for the price to determine it is worth or not. tongue.gif

I think Rebor is trying to make their figures without stand base for now on.
Their new production didn't see any stand base... hmm.gif
Anyway, Nanmu Spino is following JP3 look, Rebor is following new theory Spino.

user posted imageuser posted image

But... Rebor already planed to release their Spino for year pass... still in process... dry.gif
PNSO already release their Spino and become Hot sell item. sweat.gif

And yes, most expect is Nanmu Mosasaurus for sure. thumbup.gif

This is an awesome month. I already set my mind on the Rebor Stegeo with Nanmu Spino.
The allosaurus doesn't really tempting to me, most probably due to i already had the W-dragon Allosaurus.

Btw, if anyone looking for Pnso figures, I saw some selling over Hamsley @ 1u, though the price is much higher.
But they Pnso mini figures comes with a reasonable price of Rm29 per pcs.

sweat.gif sweat.gif i think i have to stop, i running out of space fast !

I guess my only complaint for this apatasaurus is the tail.
The instruction mentioned that to attached the tail is best to blow it with hair dryer as well as apply glue.

If you just use the hair dryer to attached it, it will leave a lil bit of gap there, but still if u not watching it closely, it won't be that visible.
