3rd chinese developer coming in with all it's condo's. Heard the singaporeans look down on Chinese developers as all they can do is build densed environments with all their condos

Glut of supply there. There won't be enough demand to absorb the sharp rise in supply. Country Garden Danga Bay project had impressive take up of 6000+ units out of 9000 units when it was launched. But the take up today after one year still remain largely unchanged. Given several thousands of units coming into the market soon, how many foreign investors they can really bring in. Even they manage to secure large number of foreign buyers, they are mostly investors. How many units will be rented out. It may end out to be a quiet / dead town, though this is not what I wish to see.

These Chinese developers should have studied the market before coming in. Now they have spoiled the market for Chinese, msian n Singaporean developers. Still better to buy a similar priced condo with wide open views.

beside CG danga bay...not too far away.. maybe look up wikimapia... preview this weekend..
I know got only a few blocks of condo's but all tall blocks la (60 storey's +/-)
They also sent me the invitation requiring me to set up a QQ account with slides in Mandarin.. I banana so have to ask uncle to translate haha

So far CG only can sold out less than 30% and many bank start reject CG loan apply.....issit true??

really ah... SG forum says alot of transferring of condo's with premium's in CG Danga.. Dunno how R&F gonna do?

btw, i won't buy a condo in JB unless i'm working there..

CG danga bay needs to sell about 6k condo's to break even.. I thought they bragged that they sold 6k condo's d?? Anyway their website/showunit is awesomeballs!

I don't think sold out less than 30% is true. But what happen is that banks set quota on each project and if banks started to reject loan it could be quota max already besides other issues (credit profile of borrower, bank start tightening their risk appetite etc)

I've seen the numbers and I think the figure is around 60% but they are split across 3 phases completing in 2017,18,19. So they got time to finish things!
They need to provide a bus to service people to the CIQ & RTS train station
