The advantage of XBMC Minix edition is it come together with latest XBMC version and any bugs found Minix could direct customise of fix the bugs. This is not possible if you use generic xBMC version.

Step by step guide :
Download the App from MiNIX : http://www.minix.com.hk/downfile/RC_MINIX.apk
a). Goto Minix Settings -> Advanced -> Remote Control, turn on the switch.
b). Launch the RC_MINIX.apk from your Android phone, it will auto detect X8H IP address, just click the IP address, the remote session start.

Yes, you can try the standard version. Just backup the the original Netflix in case you need to resintall back. The backup app is in the Google Drive, the link sent to you via the Getting Started email.

Trust me bro, you need some time to adapt to the air mouse since we use to traditional mouse for the last 10 years. Once you use to the air mouse, you will no longer need traditional mouse.

P/S : Air mouse only suitable for large screen, computer monitor not suitable for air mouse.

Why choose MINIX X8H ?
1). If your main expectation is XBMC, the exclusive MINIX edition is the customized XBMC version build base on MINIX hardware with full hardware decoding support.
2). Typical Android players are manufactured in China and customized for China local market. Most of the user interface are base on China user requirement. MINIX mainly target for International market, the MINIX launcher and User Interface are fully English.

If you could read Chinese, then Himedia has the advantage of watching China TV programs, but you have to bear with Chines apps in Chinese menu. I do not recommend to choose Q5III at this moment as the firmware still in the preliminary stage, please wait until mid of September 2014, there is enhancement of Q5III model after 2 months of test market in China. At the same time, Q5III English firmware will be available in September 2014. Typically, firmware 1.0.3 onward will be stable version.

To be honest bro, I do not have MK330 to verify for you. Typically Android support most of the plug and plug mouse and keyboard, unless the mouse required special driver to work.

Keyboard is not necessary for Watching movies. If you plan to use the player for massive Internet browsing or blogging, I will not recommend to use android player.

By the way, X8H come with free Air mouse.
