Hi

Glad to see a Penang seller selling MINIX NEO X8-H biggrin.gif as I'm from Penang too.

Can you advise how is the warranty claim procedure ie shipping fee, where should we ship to and duration of the claim?

I'm considering to purchase this TV Box for media streaming / play downloaded movies and most importantly Skype video call. My distance from the box to the sofa set would be less than 5m. Do you think if I purchase the X8-H with A2 Mouse that comes with built in mic helps during Skype call. In the meantime, can you advise suitable webcam model that works with the X8-H?

There are 3 USB port on the box, does it support 3.5" 2TB SATA, USB Keyboard and Mouse?

Can you quote your best price for MINIX NEO X8-H (X8H) + Minix A2 Mouse + Delivery to Penang.

Look forward to hear from you and if I'm able to whatsapp you for further queries, please PM me you hp no.

Thank you

For warranty claim, just sent me the faulty unit, no shipping charges.

To be honest, I never test any Webcam so far because hardly customers use it as video conference player. But you could bring your Webcam to my place to test since you are from Penang.

The USB port support USB hard disk but not direct sata connector, USB keyboard and mouse are plug and play.

Please PM me your hp number, I will text you my number.

The price shown in the thread still valid included free M1 air mouse,

Thanks

My 2 TB 3.5" comes with USB Enclosure and I would power it up using AC Power, trust it shouldn't be any problem right?

In fact, I have not purchased any webcam for time being. But, from Minix Forum FAQ, it is stated as follows:-

QUOTE
We recommend the Logitech Webcam C Series for use on the MINIX NEO Series - specifically the C110, C170, C210, C920 and C525. Other web-cams may work, however these are the models that have been tested and verified by MINIX, and we can ensure compatibility.
I'll try to get one of this webcam then.

Any news on the A2 Mouse? Can you PM me your shop's details and contact no. I'll try to visit your shop to purchase if I do have time, if not i'll just place my order here.

Yes, as well as the interface is USB, it should work by plug and play.
Logitech C series are Android compatible, the information in Minix I is trusted.

For A2 Air mouse, there are some bugs with menu button, you need to apply the latest firmware beta 008 to fix the bugs.

Like to Bump your thread for 5 STARS customer service and support online.

Unlike one seller also in lowyat who also sells the same item, when a customer asked for office location, he answered this... You Came to ask or you came to buy? Then another customer asked about xbmc or apps, that seller replied , go to the minix link or forum to find out.

I would recommend all of you to get from nicety for himedia and minix, eventhough im not his customer yet, im still surveying for the right media player. Previously i owned himedia q6 but i cant understand mandarin and dont have time to watch. But i would love something in future that i could just fire up the media player and watch a stable streaming movie.

After reading all his thread, nicety replies with tact and also patient with words when comes to troubleshooting. Any media players brand will became useless if u dont get the right support or person to help online or instantly.

Thank you the compliment bro. We are thriving for different business model which deviated from traditional shop and focus on remote post sales support. However the journey is not easy, fully depend on words of mouth from customers and forumers. Once again, thanks for your compliment.

Nicety,

Can you confirm if the google play in minix have this app, astro on the go? Does it support Plex ? Reason of using plex is because my local downloaded movies in my macbook, can i stream it without having to transfer to hdd . Try to reduce as many steps as possible.

I have an asus router with aicloud, im still figuring out how to attach hard disk onto my router and work seamlessly with minix. Thanks.

Thank you for inquiry bro. There is only one GooglePlay. Astro On the GO is not regional restricted apps, it will be available. Because Plex is paid service, please sent me the apk file, I will test installed for you.

Hi Nicety. I am highly interested with minix. Currently im using xbmc for windows, and planned to use an android box as pc's are power hungry. My movies are in my external hdd and is in NTFS format. Can minix fully support this format? I am using xbmc as primary media centre and often streaming international livetv.

thank you

Thank you for inquiry. NTFS is not a problem, this is common file system for Windows and Android environment.
