Any forex gurus here... i would like to learn a thing or two on trading forex...

previously did not do study and straight into trading... it's like gambling...

would like to learn how to win pips... any resources that you can share?

that's why i said the best guru actually is your self...learning from guru just to understand the basic of forex...then u need to understand all the knowledge u get and try it on the real trade...i also make a 200usd lose when im 1st in forex...use all the indicators given by gurus and he claim it is a perfect entry...actually perfect entry only happen if the trend market is stable...if not the perfect entry will not be valid...sometimes issues like geopolitical can give sudden effect to a nation currency...so there are no perfect sytem but to use it only to gather data and analysis them for the right entry...however the risk are always there...but if u are good enough to gather data from 5 or 10 years in the past u can get more clear view on the trend move...actually the trend in forex are likely to move in the same pattern from the past...try to get the data and study them...im also still learning how to read the pattern in the forex...learn and remember all the pattern on the candle can give an extra view how the trend will be moving like doji, hammer, engulfing and etc...

then u should ask my students...

its all not about indicators or best strategy...

ur movement prediction on EU forecast is the same like my analysis...for intraday are better use this analysis...dont look for BUY entry for now especially for Intraday...for scalper look for candle pattern and u might entry BUY with TP 5-15 pip only...

yes u r rite ...    anyway u most focus on which pair of currency right now? mind to share? me only focus on EJ, GU and EU those with spread of 3 / 2 only...for other pairs like NA, CU and AJ i only observe for now look if my technical analysis on this pair always right or not...u do analysis in group or individually?

@starship1, 5k is too much to start with. 500usd is good enuf to let u feel the forex market. Test if u could stand up against the rise n fall of price movements. Swimming in a pool is unlike in the sea, where strong currents could cause anxiety n tiredness, etc. It applies even if u trade long term, in months, like csong60.

Trading with demo account is a fallacy, because the capital is unlimited. Even if u set a limit to it, it will not stimulate the emotional stress, which real hard earned money produces.

And a last piece of advice, that all IBs reap profits out of your trades, be it wins or losses. Also, Brokers play against you, as a hedge against margin call where the institutions require of us traders.

Now u should decide whether to jump into this side of this vehicle or just stick to the others that u might have more grasp of.

Dear all, need some help. I made some money from forex and proceeded with a withdrawal. The broker proceeded and gave me an ARN number (tracking purpose) for the transfered fund to my credit card. To date which is 15 days from receiving ARN number the stupid bank  wants me to fill up dispute form for the withdrawal.

Is it normal??
