EURUSD fell below the $1.35 mark for the first time since February, weakening along with most of the big name currencies against the greenback. The Fed Reserve Chair Janet Yellen has recently indicated that borrowing costs may rise sooner than markets expected. However, many traders believe the recent Euro weakness is technically driven and has now bounced back to above 1.35 this afternoon.

The Cad dollar (loonie)has gained this week after consumer prices increased at a pace not seen for the last two years, catching many off-guard after the BoC recently indicated that economic recovery was slower than expected.

EURUSD fell to new 8 month lows today, reaching 1.3420. Technically it is looking bearish with the 20 SMA and RSI both heading south. German business confidence also declined more than analysts had expected. Generally the greenback has been doing somewhat better than its major peers.
Keep an eye out for the Fed’s next policy meeting on 30th July. Commentators are now expecting the greenback to gain momentum into September as improved economic performance shits the balance of potential interest rate hikes in the future.

然后就跟我讲解关于forex的东西 还说我国对forex开始比较宽松了（我不懂怎样解释） 而且是合法的 然后又几好赚几好赚这样 讲到我都蠢蠢欲动
想问一下大家 forex在马来西亚是合法的吗？还有有人知道更多关于rc group的东西吗？

The Greenback has hit a new 11 month high against the Euro but today pulled alittle back in anticipation of Fed Chair Yellen speaking tomorrow. Yesterday it rallied well as traders continued to bet that the potential for a rate increase looks more likely. Both Sterling and China’sYuan dropped markedly.

Sterling has now hit April levels at around $1.6564 but today has done very little, staying range bound at the time of writing.

Next week there is some interesting Japanese data on Tuesday and some important data for Germany throughout the week which will shed more light on the health of the Euro

It’s not unusual to witness a subdued trading session following the release of a U.S. jobs report. While straddling a holiday or two, expect many participants to take some time out and reflect on the dollar’s powerful moves in the third quarter. Investors will be asking after watching the buck soar to such lofty heights, “where to from here?” The dominant U.S. dollar’s moves since July have been both telegraphed and one directional. Recent Commodity Futures Trading Commission data indicates the market has made an aggressive +$35.1 billion net long USD (+238k contracts) approaching the 2012 record (+311k) – July showed net bets against the USD. However, the theme as we get closer to the end of American quantitative easing (QE) is volatility. Everyone will be closely watching the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) minutes this week for signs of the Federal Reserve’s timetable for unraveling QE. Nonetheless, the USD is entering overbought territory – a strong dollar makes it more difficult for exporters. But, much U.S. growth is domestic and consumer-driven – it’s the possibility of imported deflation that’s a greater concern with a strong dollar.

On Wednesday (07:00) ECB President Draghi will be speaking at a press conference about the European economy. This is highly likely to produce volatility in the Euro as traders try to determine what he is saying. If you want to trade at this time you need to understand that you will be up against the professionals! They are able to disseminate information very quickly (and have machines to do it for them) so the likelihood is that you are going to be behind the curve. However, this is not necessarily a disadvantage - if you can pick up a trend quickly then it may be profitable. But don’t hang around for too long!!

Alpari UK, a foreign-exchange brokerage operating from the other side of the Atlantic, announced it has entered insolvency due to the Swiss franc’s frantic movement.

“The recent move on the Swiss franc caused by the Swiss National Bank's unexpected policy reversal of capping the Swiss franc against the euro has resulted in exceptional volatility and extreme lack of liquidity,” said Alpari UK in a statement.
