So in your $100K demo account, are you trading 1 standard lot per trade?

Yes, you are right ..... for 1 standard lot, 1-pip = $10. Since yours is 1-pips = $1, meaning you are trading 1-mini lot.
In that case your capital for this demo account is unrealistic. I doubt you will ever get margin call ;-)

There is a saying .... "Treat your demo  account as if it is your live account".

I knew nothing on forex and would like to learn. I'm looking to open an account with a broker and it has commission of raw spread + $10 per round turn. I'm quite confused on how commission being calculated. Does it meant I need to pay $5 per transaction or what?  Min lot size is 0.01 lots. Thanks.

There are also no commission accounts but min spread is like 0.5 pip or more depending on broker. Which is better, fixed minimum spread or 0.0 min spread but with commission? I'm going to use it with auto trading via MT4. Thanks.

The leverage is high ? Did you know they change the leverage every Friday night to 1:200 ? Last time they was once a good tight spread broker until they ripped me off with the leverage thingy all floating trades of mine had been close automatically.

Its depends on a trader afterall. Swing trader is not recommended. For intraday, just dont overtrade on Friday.

Hi, Thanks for the reply jennyngmy. Of course, i wouldn't use my whole capital with one trade. Capital usage will be small, but 2k is the amount i''m willing to deposit. I will definitely research fxrebator. I'm new to forex, i thought most people use mt4, i guess i'll have to understand more about exness first. Been trading stocks, futures and options for a while, recently i've been papertrading forex on TOS/TDA account. Until i have pretty consistent result, they rejected the application for foreign account. How disappointing!

Does anyone here trade with FXPro, FXDD or Alpari? these agencies look more creditable to me from my research. Though i feel Alpari is a little desperate, they called me immediately after i put my number in... and i'm not really looking for any rebate or promo, some good reputable agency with good service would do.
