Call Intel tech support line they will ask all the detail on your chip and cooler then tell problem, POP (Proof of purchase), address, contact and name. They will send courier come to pick up from you cost with costly price bare by intel and will send back a new one once they diagnose problem really cause of this processor if not all courier charge will be bare by you or you dont want you processor back. Test before you send

Call Intel's warranty hotline and provide them the serial number.
They will ask you to mail it to Penang along with the original heat sink and fan.
There are also some ticket/case number that you need to write on the package - just follow instructions from the service desk agent.

RMA process is very fast, will only take a week or so.
The new processor will be mailed back to you.

Paying for the courier fees is cheap and I recommend that you do it yourself.

Just like some members posted above, direct deal with Intel. Their RMA service is quite systematic and efficient.
