a decade lel, u do know that at stock speed 4790K is already almost same speed as 3930k? in another 3-5yrs a mid end PC probably beat u.

it is probably better value to split budget into 2 and buy in 2 diff time.

well in terms of single threaded performance, his will lose to latest i7 4790K... but in multi threaded? his will trash the i7 4790K

only sad thing is.. games are not multi threaded

This year, I spent 29 cent on games and made $10 in card trading.

Seems my trend for summer sale is from spending money to making money lol.

But to be honest, it's more fun to buy games.

nope 3930k wouldnt be far off. 4790K is on average is 20% faster than sandy bridge at same clock speed that already take half of 3930K advantage off the table @ 3.2GHz but 4790K is 4Ghz sooo......

Then a game even code for 8 thread for ex. like watch dog/bf4/crysis 3 does not scale well on multicore, got extra 50% more cores but normally wont get extra 50% boost.
