Are you sure the prizes for the Prelims are the same as the prizes for the Grand Finals??

I would really hope the prizes are the same...that would give me more encouragement to fight for the Top 3 places in prelims

Huh why not giving cash as prizes anymore like last year's CELgames?
Some more now giving Mousepads only for 2nd and 3rd placings
I don't use mousepad also wan...i think mousepad is useless to me

Since the prize is the same, i don't think they care to win 2nd place also...like this just will not make the tournament challenging...at least 2nd place give headset ler...aih this year CELgames is not as interesting as the previous one

EDITED: By the way, no medals also?? How about sponsorship of the champion to the Grand Finals?

competition is more important than the prize

mousepads is one of the good item for collection..

for the 2nd place.. i bet some malaysian will try to "jaga muka", if he/she lose then malu loh.. but got "some" malaysian also dun care the prize, wat place u get during competition.. they just enjoy the BEAUTIFUL game..

this year is the most interesting CELgames.. u only compare the prize.. wat la u..

for the sponsorship i think they will call u for confirmation.. dun worry la.. they manage it well.. u just sit in front ur pc n enjoy ur game lor.. no need to how why no medals.. medal not worthy la.. better they giv mousepad rather than medal.. but if yes i think only for the Grand Final winner..

not to say we care bout prizes lo,wat i heard earlier is got medal and prizes.. and yesterday when i saw the prize at the site..wow.only one item for each winner...totally like so different lo.medal is important not caused of its worth but it give us good memory (honour) and etc...

I believe we will have medals as well for the cybercafe winners. Bear with me on this because we've been rather busy in the office. I'll update you guys on this matter.

Generally, I will readily admit that the prizes arent great compared to other bigger tournaments out there, but this is the best we can do right now.
