QUOTE(Cloud0890 @ Jul 7 2014, 10:12 PM) What dream? The report says Sanchez plus cash or pay up full release clause. Even better if Barca are unwilling to pay and can't convince Sanchez to opt for us. I would rather have Suarez for half a season than Markovic for 20-25m to be honest. Give us 75m or get the fark out barca..hahaMarkovic+suarez+lala+coutinho+sturridge+sterling...superb!..all can score goals |

Benfica's Serbian winger is set to join on a four-year deal as Brendan Rodgers takes his summer spending closer to the £60million mark Lazar Markovic is due on Merseyside in the next 48 hours to complete his £19.8million move to Liverpool. Markovic, 20, is flying in for his medical and to sign after Liverpool activated his buy-out clause at Benfica. The Serbian international winger could arrive as early as tomorrow, although it is more likely he will jet in on Thursday. It is believed the Reds have agreed in principle terms on a four-year deal with Markovic. Markovic, who also attracted interest from Chelsea, will become Liverpool's fourth summer signing, taking boss Brendan Rodgers' spending to £58million. With a Champions League campaign on the horizon, the Reds have raided Southampton for striker Rickie Lambert and midfielder Adam Lallana, and added Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can. They are also close to a deal for Lille forward Divock Origi, although the young Belgian may be loaned back to the French club for next season. The Merseysiders are expected to receive a windfall of around £70m from Barcelona, who are trying to buy bite-ban striker Luis Suarez. oo yeahhhhh |

QUOTE(weichieh007 @ Jul 9 2014, 11:14 AM) That would have been fantastic! barca is not that stupid to value sanchez for only 15mI thought the initial deal was 60 mil + Sanchez (rumours) Now without Sanchez, they only add 15 mil = 75 mil But Arsenal paid 30 mil for Sanchez (rumours). So should't Suarez worth at least 60+30 mil? Reds also prepared to sell bite-ban star to Barcelona for Alexis Sanchez plus £50m they'd then use on Benfica winger Rodgers has long coveted http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/tra...2#ixzz36wfw3EZv Follow us: @DailyMirror on Twitter | DailyMirror on Facebook |

QUOTE(mr_nobigdeal @ Jul 12 2014, 03:21 PM) Good read - Suarez irreplaceable Yup..many thinks we should replace suarez with the same skill as him...teeeettt!..wrong!...we should replace his goals, not the man himself..there is only 1 suarez..his 30+goals should be shared to other new players..bony 15goals,new winger 10goals,lalana 12 goalsIt's very hard to find one direct player to replace Suarez. What BR needs to do now to get a system where we can use Lallana, Markovic or Sterling to create the chances and creativity around the box as what Suarez did last season and probably Sturridge will be a lone striker. If that the case, I don't mind we can sign Bony, Benzema or even Loic Remy. Whatever it is, I still trust BR for what he did for last season and I'm sure he knows what he's doing. It's still 1 month ahead before transfer close, so who knows he might give us surprise. |
