Could have spent Shaqiri (proven international stage and UCL) at 15mil, Manzukic (again proven international and UCL) at 15mil, and 10mil elsewhere.

Sincerely speaking, I believe Lambert will be a flop like Aspas, Lallana will be the next Robbie Keane, and Origi will be Borini. BR is good, but he has no UCL experience and does not know how to handle 50-60 games a season (UCL + League Cup + FA Cup + BPL).

It's no wonder Sanchez doesn't wanna come. They have players like Ozil, Giroud, Mertesacker and many more. Ours? Pure English. Only Gerrard is proven worldwide. Sterling still new, Coutinho barely known, Suarez gone, Sturridge in England, Henderson normal stuff.

I can see the past trasnfer only Struj and Couth are successful where the others are either flop or send to training with other teams. The jury of BR transfer still out there since last 2 season he only sign mostly peanuts players like Asaiddi, Aspas, Borini, Allen(exp a bit) , Shako (our last seaon marquee signing). due to lack of trust of FWS in BR transfer windows strategy. Until last season where BR finally show them the potential of the team might challenging the top, they need to support BR to sign more players and this time it's not just peanut 10m ish players. it's 20m ish players.

BR is in break or make season now. If he can continue bringing LFC forwards with more glory then he is really a new LFC legend. Should he failed, he will be in hot seat very soon.

You guys are all waiting for that 'marquee' signing, that game changer that's never gonna come wey. BR is strengthening the depth in the squad. Henderson, Coutinho were nothing when they came to first team. Sturridge was probably pretty similar to Remy.

Yeah we finished 2nd, but many people still look at that as a flash in the pan. Until we can prove that consistency then only will we attract bigger fish. But for now, we have to continue strengthening with little known names.
