QUOTE(syazwan @ Jun 28 2014, 10:15 PM) breaking from ESPN. Some world cup star quoted as saying he lost his balance on chiellini. The uruguayans really showing true YNWA spirit with suarez.OK i really wanna make all the excuses in my life from now on The total ignorance they showed towards the issue was mindblowing. Their president event told the evil media to let the poor boy off. The boy was rewarded with a heroes welcome eventhough he practically turned his country's pretty good world cup campaign thus far into disarray. Such brotherhood. Suarez has single handedly snatched away Uruguay's world cup campaign.
They will not admit it, but the Uruguayan are tasting the medicine Suarez served Ghana in the last World Cup. |

QUOTE(Cloud0890 @ Jul 10 2014, 11:28 PM) The German Football League (DFL) has revealed more details of its plans to introduce video evidence in the Bundesliga. Once video referee applied, the term play by the wistle does not applied anymore as there is another invisible wistle that can overide it.The German top flight could introduce both goal-line technology and video evidence in the future, DFL executive Andreas Rettig told kicker. Speaking to the press at the unveiling of the fixtures for the new Bundesliga season last month, Rettig had hinted at the possibility of introducing video evidence in German football's two upper tiers. And in a kicker feature, he revealed that the DFL wants to use a fifth official to monitor controversies from nine different angles, who would then be able to contact the referee by radio. The DFL is considering following the lead of a pilot project introduced in the Dutch league last year. "It's important that the character of the game does not change and the referee remains the sovereign on the pitch," Rettig told kicker. "He makes the final decision. The video technology takes over an additional assistant role. The Dutch proposition says that a decision has to be made within 15 seconds." He said the idea was "only about minimising evident wrong calls." He pointed out that, at the World Cup, the fifth official would have been able to correct decisions like the two disallowed "offside" Mexico goals against Cameroon that were in fact onside. http://www.espnfc.com/german-bundesliga/st...dutch-tech-lead Hopefully it will be a success and rest of Europe to follow suit. If a decision can be reviewed swiftly then why not. Means even , in offside cases, like in the mexico cases, even if the flag is up and the ref blew his wistle the attackers could still be actually onside so both defenders and attackers must continue playing untill the ball naturally went out of play... Thats madness... |
