Hi guys, anybody here know about broadcasting? I'd been told by 988 radio station to send in a record of my voiceover to them as a portfolio for a DJ position application. Do they care about the technical effect which is recorded by home microphone as u know the effect isn't going to be clear enough because the air in our room is not tight like in the studio? And i'm still thinking of writing a script for the record, any comment what content should be sound in the introduction? And it should be 2 version of cantonese & mandrin.

FOr a good effect you should use a low noise mic Just start with a script : 1 an intro of yourself 2 an imaginary program slot 3 demo content of the slot 4 sign off
for 988 you will go thru training before going in as a DJ ou can get yourself more info from Radio MMU radio.mmu.edu.my , this student radio station had gave birth to a few 988 DJ (Zhang Tao is one of them)
