Mebbe the price will go down once the LG GW R is out? Or as usual, give it some time, surely there will be discounts later.

Just got my watch from @thankyou yesterday. For me i wouldn't bother changing the strap to metal, will just get a metal clasp like the one for samsung gear and can fit to the existing leather strap, easier and cheaper alternative too ..

For those using facer app, i noticed that some of the more graphically complex watchfaces will signifacantly impact batt life. From my observation, using moto built in watchfaces saves more batt than a facer one. And notifications seems to slightly lag when on facer compared to a moto one over a period of continued use. Anyone else exlperience this?

With that much details to accurately mimic the real thing, battery drain definitely going to be massive. Are u using this face right now?

Not at the moment. I think overall with Facer or Watchmaker, battery drain would be more, but only slightly more. Even those who used the Jarvis 2.0 watchface can get a full day battery out of it.
*
Oh, got Jarvis 2.0 nao? Hemm, need to go facerepo and check this ...

Hmm some China guy posted on the G+ Moto 360 Community of the metal band almost identical to the one rendered at first by Motorola which was later not released.

Wow! That one is even better! Hopefully the Chinese can replicate it in masses and sell it cheap cheap.

Yea, I will definitely buy it. Totally eliminate the backplate cracking risk.
*
As for the pebble metal band with Moto 360, i noticed that as long as you don't wear it too tightly, the metal band will not bend too much to the recessed backplate area. Mine still has some wiggle room on my wrist, so all is OK.

He replied me in Chinese. Basically its only a sample, he plan to sell it too. He even ask me to be distributor lol, but I am not businessman. If I buy from him, I guess I could take bulk order here too for those who are interested.

Will keep you guys posted.

dont think will need the steelconnectM 180 for now
*
SteelconnectM opens up a whole lot of possibilites with other conventional watch straps, something you dont get from motorola directly, and it saves your backplate from cracking too ...

If yoy have stone leather band, just sandpaper it, and then dye it with brown color. Done. Save USD30.

I have updated to the latest android wear update. Fail to see what is different with this version, except for the fact that they have removed the connect/disconnect icon in the app. did not notice any change on my Moto either.

Update is for Material Design, and fix for media playback notification bug on Lollipop, reorganize features into overflow menu. Not much additional features.
