Hey guys! I had my PS3 for 2 years now and I've most probably played most of the great games that are available on the PS3. As you guys know with the PS4 in the market I THINK game developers will focus more on games for "Current Gens" and not for "Last Gens" . Unexpectedly, I've taken quite the interest in Nintendo system such as 3DS XL, I wanted to buy one but my current financial situations is holding me back so I've decided to sell my PS3 for it. Questions comes into my mind, does it worth it? Should I sell my PS3 for Nintendo's 3DS? I know it's a handheld but leaving a console without touching it for months isn't any better either. With that said, what you guys think about the current situations for last gens?

Hmm... it depends on what games do you want to play. If you're a casual gamer, always on the run or bored with the ps3 games, then trading your ps3 for a 3DS XL is a good idea. If you just want to play a certain 3DS exclusive games, just rent a 3DS for a few days to play it.

For me, I have a xbox 360 and also haven't been playing it for months now because I'm always on the move, no time to sit in front of tv long hours so mostly game on mobile phone or psp. Still, when the weekend comes, I prefer to be able to relax and enjoy some actual quality console games which no handheld games is able to satisfy me. I mean, how else are you going to play upcoming console games like Dragon Age 3, Far Cry 4 or The Evil Within on a handheld? Of course if you have an awesome pc gaming rig, that's another story. Even though the focus may be shifting toward xbox one/ps4 but I have a whole lots of backlog games that I still haven't even begin yet so I'm definitely keeping the last gen console

Nobody buys PC nowadays...its deteriorating at a fast place...
3DS has a lot ....and i mean a lot of games...most of them are fun to play...
But most of the time im on my PS3 or Xbox360....

If you are a nomad type..then you should buy 3DS.....DONT EVER BUY VITA....its a useless piece of junk...very little enjoyable games on it...and overall total games are little...

It's just personal preference, I have both 3DS and Vita. I play vita a lot due to plus accounts, every month free games and discount, unlike 3DS, games on it are expensive, even a second hand one.
