Lucky I got my UCS Tumbler earlier AND cheaper than RRP too!

Only other thing that interest me in that list is the Detective Agency.

I'm a bit new to the Lego hobby so I'd like to ask the sifus here as I'm not sure how it works.

So I'm interested in the UCS Slave I 75060 and I'm pretty sure it'll be hard for the resellers to beat the RRP of RM 849.90 at the Lego certified store. However, I'm in Penang and it seems like Slave I is sold out the moment it goes up for sale at the stores in KL.

My question is, is it going to be the same (instant sell out) each time the store re-stocks? Or will they be a point further down the road, say a few months from now, where the item will remain on the shelves for a longer period of time?

Thinking of going down to KL to get it but I want to be sure when I'm there, the store has it in stock. Takut later make a trip down there, no stock, waste time and money nia.

Btw, it seems like a Lego shop is going to open soon in Queensbay. Dunno if it's a Lego certified store, same as the ones in The Curve, Bangsar Village and Empire, and whether they'll carry the exclusive sets like Slave I.

Awesome. biggrin.gif Hopefully the QB store does stock Slave I. Does anyone know when it's opening?

Otherwise I've got a friend whose friend works in the leasing department in QB mall. I'll try see if I can korek any information.

In other news, another new store selling LEGO!

From Impulse.com.my FB:

Hi guys, we've actually forgotten to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Hope you guys have had a blast with LEGO last year, as this year promises to be even better as an AFOL!
We want to thank each and every of you for your support, feedbacks and purchases since we started selling LEGO in May last year. We've come a long way since then and it is all due to you guys incessant support, we hope to do even better in this coming year and we will try to improve on all facets of our offerings! Here is Impulse Brick Store New Year Resolutions
1) DELIVERY OF SHIPMENT
We have received quite a fair amount of complaints with regards to Skynet's delivery timeframe and their handling of the parcels. We have heard your feedbacks, and we have decided to STOP USING SKYNET from this month onwards. All parcels will now be shipped via POSLAJU (both Peninsula or East Malaysia), even though we incur higher postage costs, we believe that it is imperative that our customers receive their goods in a good condition to the best of our efforts.
2) NEW BRANCH
We have released teasers of our new branch, focusing on both LEGO and Video Games. We can now confirm that our new branch will be based in KLANG VALLEY, exact location will be announced once we are ready for our GRAND OPENING! Our new branch is 2000+ sq ft and will feature a PAB wall, MANY retired sets display, comfortable waiting area as well as MANY SETS for sale at great prices!
3) LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR
We will also be working closely with the local distributor (LTM/ALJ) from now onwards to boost our product offerings. We hope to organise events and take a more active part in growing the LEGO community in Malaysia, and we hope to serve the great communities such as LoM and Asiabricks in the near future!
Thanks for reading these, we are more than happy to reply to any feedbacks/concerns that you guys might have!

Yes. Good news indeed. Used to buy my PS3 games and some Blu-ray movies from them, no issues.

Unfortunately, my one and only LEGO purchase was not so good.

Box came crushed but they said it probably happened during shipping. Which I kind of gave them the benefit of doubt as I saw many people receiving perfect shipments from them.

Guess I was one of the unlucky ones.

Agreed... I doubt the pricing would be low... seriously if Lego Malaysia wanted to have a boom... they should start selling good pricing... if they can sell items at 50% off... one would guess their profit is indeed more than 50%... sell it at an average of 20-30% off current price... and I am sure a lot of us would be err.... buying more...
