Lol, how old do you think I am? I'm only 22 man.  biggrin.gif  I might buy that for my cousins but I want the minifigs too haha.

But the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape has Batman and Robin too but that's out of my budget for now. Shouldn't have bought the Imperial Star Destroyer so soon.  cry.gif
*
No idea how old you are bro. I'm 35 tongue.gif

If you're just starting, suggest you don't go for older sets like Funhouse unless you're prepared to pay more. And the price will likely to go higher since it's a retired set.

Stick to the newer releases.

Yeah, 2014's one. No place to display so I had to put it on my piano  whistling.gif

Good price. Think I paid RM 35 for that Gandalf polybag sometime back.

Needed it to complete my "Fellowship of the Ring" tongue.gif

The Batmobile and Batwing next to The Bat are from Riddler Chase and Joker Steam Roller set?

You managed to buy The Tumbler too?
*
No. Those are 2013 sets.
Batmobile from 6864
Batwing from 6863

I haven't opened my Riddler Chase and haven't gotten the Steamroller set yet

Which Tumbler you referring to bro? That black one is a custom Brent Waller Tumbler. Smaller than the Joker Ice Cream Truck set Tumbler which is too big in my opinion.

This one is smaller but I'm thinking of getting another custom one cause this one only fits 1 minifig. Seen one that can fit 2 figs. Need a place for "Racheal!!!!!"

But I also got the UCS Tumbler if that's what you're referring to:

Ohh, ok. The one you custom made with the Batpod.

Is it true that UCS versions of Lego are not playable?
*
Most UCS do not come with figures as far as I know. I think the Tumbler is the only one I have.

Secondly, I believe the building techniques (how pieces are attached) and the size make them more suitable as display pieces. But I'm no expert tongue.gif

Even the custom black Tumbler I have is not really ideal for playing. Some parts are connected quite loosely (because of the design - the pieces beside the front wheels) and drop off easily, even without playing!

Some of design or build techniques are for aesthetic purposes only and can't handle playability.

But, why are they making them for aesthetic purposes only if kids want to play haha.

The top part of the Imperial Star Destroyer is quite loose as well, have to be extremely delicate when handling it.

Hurray, mum giving me $$$ for Christmas so I can get one more set.

Should I get Riddler Chase or Bane Tumbler Chase?
*
These are questions you should ask yourself when deciding.

Are you a fan of the Christopher Nolan Batman movies or any Batman set will do?

Technically, Bane Tumbler Chase may be harder to find since it's an older set. Also the 3 figures are unique and 2 vehicles are from The Dark Knight Rises so if you love movie (like me), you should get this first.

You can only get Nolan movie Batman, Bane and SWAT Gordon (although he was only in SWAT gear in "The Dark Knight") from this set. And of course The Bat and camo Tumbler.

I think The Riddler Chase set will still be around to get later if you still want it. The Batman suit is unique. Flash minifig will come in a 2015 set I believe and Riddler isn't from any particular comic/movie. But the Batmobile is kinda cool and futuristic version (but kinda looks like those Tamiya cars)

Remember, there will be more new sets coming in 2015 and at least 3 or 4 sets will come with a new Batman minfig. New 52 suit and new cowl for the standard suit. And at least 1 space theme Batsuit.

Wow, dayummm. That's a very detailed explanation. Almost like a true batman fan. Now, you made me consider again haha but the bat vs bane is approaching EOL right? I definitely want both but not at the same time. Hmm, I'll upload the pic of which set I'm getting later heh.

Yeah, I'm definitely getting the space batman one. It's coming in the green lantern vs sinestro set.

I still have the scuba suit and Arctic suit remaining but have to wait first if not, I'll have to starve for the next month.
*
Ah yes. Scuba and Arctic. I have them too.

Been a Batman and comic fan for 30+ years.

In other news, another new store selling LEGO!

From Impulse.com.my FB:

Hi guys, we've actually forgotten to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Hope you guys have had a blast with LEGO last year, as this year promises to be even better as an AFOL!
We want to thank each and every of you for your support, feedbacks and purchases since we started selling LEGO in May last year. We've come a long way since then and it is all due to you guys incessant support, we hope to do even better in this coming year and we will try to improve on all facets of our offerings! Here is Impulse Brick Store New Year Resolutions
1) DELIVERY OF SHIPMENT
We have received quite a fair amount of complaints with regards to Skynet's delivery timeframe and their handling of the parcels. We have heard your feedbacks, and we have decided to STOP USING SKYNET from this month onwards. All parcels will now be shipped via POSLAJU (both Peninsula or East Malaysia), even though we incur higher postage costs, we believe that it is imperative that our customers receive their goods in a good condition to the best of our efforts.
2) NEW BRANCH
We have released teasers of our new branch, focusing on both LEGO and Video Games. We can now confirm that our new branch will be based in KLANG VALLEY, exact location will be announced once we are ready for our GRAND OPENING! Our new branch is 2000+ sq ft and will feature a PAB wall, MANY retired sets display, comfortable waiting area as well as MANY SETS for sale at great prices!
3) LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR
We will also be working closely with the local distributor (LTM/ALJ) from now onwards to boost our product offerings. We hope to organise events and take a more active part in growing the LEGO community in Malaysia, and we hope to serve the great communities such as LoM and Asiabricks in the near future!
Thanks for reading these, we are more than happy to reply to any feedbacks/concerns that you guys might have!
*
Yes. Good news indeed. Used to buy my PS3 games and some Blu-ray movies from them, no issues.

Unfortunately, my one and only LEGO purchase was not so good.

Box came crushed but they said it probably happened during shipping. Which I kind of gave them the benefit of doubt as I saw many people receiving perfect shipments from them.

Guess I was one of the unlucky ones.

Power! Hauling Lego and laptop!

My ASUS S400 also KO. Didn't even manage to use more than 10 times. Lucky got 2 years warranty. Took a damn long time submitted back to All IT to handle for me in August 2014.

After almost 2 months, no response from ASUS. I also contact them personally on and off. So I took it back from All IT and went direct to ASUS Service Centre on 2 Nov 2014. They told me within 2 weeks max if hardware problem. WAIT WAIT WAIT. they didn't even tell me what was the problem.

No news until last month. Finally I got 1 to 1 exchange. They gave a newer model (Transformer something) and it's slightly more expensive than my previous one. Old one got RAM failure but it was soldered to motherboard.

Off topic sorry. But sharing is caring.

As for the 7888, was on my wishlist but now seeing it, it's too big. I wanna get the custom 2-seat Tumbler but not cheap.

Also on this topic, I think I saw pic of KO 7888 now. It comes with the Inmate Joker (Orange jumpsuit from Arkham Asylum set).

These KO can do anything now!

Guess that kind of build have to sacrifice a lot of components.
