Has anyone had good experience with Qoo10 (previously g-market)?

I saw some Korean products that had really good prices on their site and was trying to place an order, but had technical difficulties, first with inputting address, then with placing the order. I sent 6 messages to customer service and they kept sending those "computer generated" replies that aren't helpful. They did not answer my questions, did not help me resolve my problems, and did not provide any customer service number to call.

After doing some searches, I found out that quite a lot of people complained about the different shops (sellers) on Qoo10, about poor service, did not receive products, wrong items, defected items, etc. And they said that Qoo10 never reply their emails or offer any help to deal with the sellers.

So it seems that Qoo10 just wants to make money as the middle man, but they will not help you if you face any problems. They also allow dishonest sellers with bad reputations to sell on their site.

Just wanted to put this out there so people are aware - better not to use Qoo10, even if it's cheaper!

Oh, you guys are lucky... from what I read those who encountered problems were mostly in Singapore.

I guess with online shopping it's hard to tell... I've had good experience with Lazada but a lot of people have had bad experiences.

Yeah same. Many people encounter bad experience with zalora and lazada but I encounter really good customer service from them. It depends sometimes :/

There's some technical problem with the website coz it keeps asking me to input address (even though it's already there) and the order can't go through.

What did Qoo10 reply me after the 6th message? "We would like to inform you that Qoo10 is not the seller nor the delivery,we are just web provider for the seller to provide their service. If you have any inquiry regarding to the item, please kindly contact with the seller directly through the item page."

Still can't get any useful help with the website. Still can't place my order. I think I will stick to Lazada or try somewhere else. Good luck to those who use Qoo10.

sometimes, their replies were translated by google translates or amateur translators. I don't get their messages sometimes, and usually i won't waste my time to message them because they will just send you standard replies which does not help to solve the problem, i will just give them a call. smile.gif
