Of course there is. This is not IRC or MSN when you can talk whatever you want. This is a forum where each threads have a specific discussion. If you want to talk about something else you can do so on another thread or create a new one.

Yes that happens at mamak which is exactly what we don't want happening at the threads here. Imagine what others would feel when they go to a particular thread hoping to find information or discussion pertaining to the thread title but instead find dozens of unrelated posts. It's ok to do that at mamak stalls. Do it here you'll probably get a warning
