i suggest u another solution if u juz wanna transfer thing between ur phone n pc, u can use the build in FTP transfer protocol function on mi3 note: ur mi3 must connect to same wifi network as ur pc
on mi3 1.go to explorer > press FTP > start server [attachmentid=4027763] [attachmentid=4027757]
2.then u will see a ftp address (ftp://192.168.0.100:2121) [attachmentid=4027758]
on PC 3.u enter the ftp address on file explorer and whola, u can directly transfer file thru FTP [attachmentid=4027759]
Have been doing that since last week sales. You can choose from multiple addresses in Paypal account.
Thus to save time, key in address properly in Paypal, then during Xiaomi sale, just hantam some rubbish inside the address and phone column very quickly, then when pay using paypal, select full address from paypal straight into it.
I forgot to change the phone no. in Paypal. The old number overwrite my mobile number in my purchase yesterday. CS cannot change phone number, thus live with it unless package not delivered.
but seems like now xiaomi changed the way it works already..if you managed to click BUY NOW succesfully (means still in stock) and add to cart, they will spare for you. No need to rush filling the form. Few managed to place order even after 18minutes of sales. My one last place order around 12.04pm.
guys, is it worth to root the phone and use other ROM?
i think it is not necessary..probably can try dev rom if you need root. but do check on the next update before you do, bcause some of the updates might have major issue to you.

now using stable TW ROM comes with the phone (AP set). not sure if wanna try dev ROM yet. Will need to see some feedack from those who already on dev ROM.
Also found out that Waze installed from the playstore does not work on the Mi3 as it is unable to show the maps. Had to search for the apk installation from the en.miui.com site. IS it me or I find that this MIUI seems to be still buggy although they claim it is stable....

Yup. Malaysian will get used to Xiaomi sooner rather than later. With the launching of redmi 1s, and especially, redmi note, Xiaomi MY will only get stronger.
