mi3 was announced september last year and only arrive here recently. mi3s/mi4 maybe will be announced around september this year. And don't know when will arrive Malaysia maybe next year. If you can wait that long and your current handset is ok for you maybe you can wait.

this is simple setting, with HDR on.

the colour in HDR mode reminds me of Samsung's oversaturated amoled. laugh.gif But some how I found the photos taken are not that sharp. hmm.gif How to take sharper photo eh?
*
The HDR mode looks unnatural. Maybe the quality of the camera is not that great. I have yet to receive the phone. Check at fedex website is this friday but just now fedex call me ask where is my house. So maybe i can receive it by today rclxm9.gif I will use this handset for a while. If the camera is not up to the standard maybe i'll change phone tongue.gif

Go shop pay 5 and let them do it.

QUOTE(suntzulee @ Jun 30 2014, 04:41 PM)
to avoid bubbles, there is some skill needed. first, a dust free environment.
1. off your ceiling fan
2. prepare some cellophane tape
3. use alcoholic wipe to clear residue or dust on screen
4. apply gently
5. use cellophane to remove bubble which caused by dust or small particle that sticks on your screen.
6. practice makes perfect  tongue.gif
*
Yeah practice makes perfect. I'm still using the practice sp. I will apply the real one later. I'm thinking of buying tempered glass sp so might not use the ori sp. The fold case use gum i hope it will not left residue when i change to other cases sweat.gif

Still no luck meet other Xiaomi user.

Really doubt Xiaomi really sell out that much unit of phone or not?
*
I think it will took a year if not years for xiaomi to gain presence in MY. Remember other brands like samsung, lg, sony, nokia, iphone etc. Has been sold in Malaysia for years. It will took a while for existing user to change their phone and choose xiaomi. I think introducing mid and low end models like redmi 1s and redmi note will accelerate the process.

remember this...unused ram is wasted ram... tongue.gif

but what if i want to install app that needs lots of ram like hd games? Will it affect the performance?

if unused ram is wasted ram, then the more ram is use require more energy and drain battery faster... hmm.gif

android works very smart. throw away your old thinking...no need to worry actually, ram will be dispersed accordingly to an app requirement...so such thing drain battery.  only wakelocks that make your battery weak...

go google what is wakelock...ok tongue.gif
*
ok...

Is there any way to make the screen turn of automatically when close the flip casing like ipad do? Sorry noob android user here.

The review is fair for me. Keep up the good work. Yeah i agree with your last statement. I will buy other phone if money is not an issue but apparently it is smile.gif But it is still a good phone nonetheless and is the best bang for the buck phone i ever see so far.

I am a newbie too and don't know much. But to answer your last question, yes it can use usb OTG pendrive.
You should read the first page of this thread or check the MIUI community forum to know more about mi3/MIUI.
