upgrade the front will do..
if u dun plan go for amplifier, then dun blame for the lack of bass...will be better than oem but not so great compare with amplified setup.
soundproof can make ur speaker sound better...and add in some bass..so it's a must
just get a component for front..nobody like someone singing to you at a position below your waist...

If put component have to punch hole, I worry will void car warranty.
Can't put amplifiers as will need to cut cables, then will have problem with car warranty.
haih....

no matter what 6.5" speaker u get, u will need to trim slightly on the door frame...but it's very minor...

unless u wan to get it install with improper way then no need to trim...

adding amp can be plug and play for ur car...100%

trimming is done on the inner door frame..metal side

pnp does not mean it must use rca...even hi level output is good enuff for today's technology..

sounds fair...

i was contemplating on making some minor changes to mine...but i am not looking for the perfect setup or anything.. i will be playing MP3s anyways... the 192/24 FLACs can best be left for my home setup...

first of all, i am not sure how much power the stock HU is putting out now but changing it is 100% out of the question at the moment..

i was actually planning to purchase some two way co-axial for the front and see if it is enough to cover for what the stock speakers are lacking... but, what you say about having a set of component does make sense except for that i have to find how to route the wiring and prevent much messing with the dashboard...

so, i was actually planning for the front co-axials first and if that is not enough... worst case was that i move the co-axials to replace the back speakers (seems like same sized) if i were to ever consider an amplified setup with a set of 2 way components at the front...

do you have any recommendation for the fronts in the range of around RM500 for co-axials or two way component set... i am trying to stay away from component as much as possible for now... i understand what you meant... but as i say, not really looking to move my home stereo into my car... so, i am not really that picky on that matter....

for 2 way coaxial, i would recommend get a german maestro alpha series...it's only rm550. sound was natural with no ajinomoto.....

german maestro is the guys who were the original MB Quart before they got bought over right???

That sounds like a doable price tag... i'll arrange for a time to make an appointment in you hopefully sometime soon..

the real mb quart manufacturer 6 years ago...now they brand it under their own name.....
