I need your opinion guys..so I'm in the form 6 science stream and I'm given the choice to either take bio or physics..but the thing is I want to take bio but I didn't take/learn it during spm. is it possible for me to learn it now without the basics.I'm interested in medicine related careers ..as for physics I'm not really good in calculations and I kinda don't like it:(..is there anyone with a case like me who ever scored well in bio ?I need your advice please..how do I cope with bio?

If you think you can score 4.0 for stpm, go for bio, otherwise, it is kinda useless to pursue courses such as nutritionist, food science, biotech, etc since ur starting pay is only 2k. If you take physic on the other hand, you still can enroll to engineering courses with cgpa of 2.8 above. Do apply computer science if your cgpa is less than 2.8.

If you really want to take it without the spm basics, you can if you're really determined to make up for it (doing more). But how do you know that you really like bio despite never learning the subject? =/

I thought I've answered your question in the other thread... I managed to score an A- for 1st term Biology without SPM Biology.

I know but I'm not that confident about it,I'm quite a slow learner ..last week I took a day for a class in bio and I couldn't understand a thing cuz they were using terms from f4,f5 This post has been edited by Shizukayyn24: Jun 25 2014, 10:51 PM

It can be done, but you'll need to work for it, and there's no guarantee that you can make it.

If you aren't good in calculations, i recommend bio. but if you aren't good in memorizing words and phrases and processes to their exact terms, u better not take either. honest opinion.
