Hey guys, it's been long. Just some updates, I have just sent my car in for possible coolant leakage. Before 30K service in Oct, the car has already gave low coolant message but they couldn't find anything wrong. So they just topped up the coolant. Last week before I drove up to Penang, I checked the level before leaving and found it low so I topped up with water and left for Penang. Reaching Penang the low coolant message came out again. So high possibility there is leakage somewhere.

SKYjack, yah will take note to do that in the future.

jfcheong, one thing I am not complaining is that our car prompt msg when the level is low smile.gif How long did you have to wait for the water pump replacement?

My coolant was not exactly extreme low maybe, thats y didnt trigger the msg.
I waited for around 1 week for the part to arrive.
At the meanwhile, suggest you top up with battery water.
Avoid using pipe water

Just got car back from CSL. Again they were not able to find out the problem. Couldn't detect where would the leakage be. Sigh. Asked me to try Glenmarie as they have more expertise there. For now they just clean up the connectors and asked me to check again if it'll go down. Good thing is that the coolant don't leak out fast so I will monitor this few weeks. I've used filtered RO water to top up so far, hopefully no issue. Anyhow, once level goes down again I will bring to another SC.

alright bro, will listen to your advise!!
Thanks!!

One more thing, i notice my wiper need to change too, any advise on this?

Hey bro, I just changed my wipers not long ago to Bosch wipers 28" x 28". You can also get the 30" x 26" by Bosch which is original size. Here is the model number for 28" as it needs to have the multi adaptor to fit our car.

Let me know if you need the contact to get the wipers.

Bad day for my car today. It's been awhile since I have been having problem with the slowly reducing coolant which up until now the SC can't resolve. To add on to that, the car has also been having issues with the temperature gauge which it intermittently goes below 90C (after driving for abit on 90C) and one time it went all the way up for a second until there was a warning light. This has not been fixed as well.

And top it all up, recently, when I start the car it feels that it has not enough power to start to a steady run which at first I thought it was the battery that is weak. Today, after I started the car, it was jerky and then the warning message came out saying engine failure. I quickly consulted someone to see if it is battery issue but he mentioned it could be fuel pump issue. I had to slowly drive the car from my office to the SC (which is nearby).

I like this car but as of now, I feel very insecure when I drive it. It's the feeling that it might breakdown any time and I can't have that as I am always picking up my family. Anyways, just to let off my "steam".

Slowly reducing coolant may be leaking somewhere, last time happened to me, it was leaking water pump, claimed under warranty.
Temperature gauge fluctuation may due to faulty temperature sensor, happened to me as well, got it changed under warranty.

I know coz I got the info from you guys and I did mention to them for both of these issues but they kept saying cannot find any issue with the parts. I was ready to bring it over to Glenmarie and issue complain as well until this happened.

Try diff SC.
When my gauge moving up and down, I did make complaint, they refuse to change for me also.
At last, the screen showed engine over heat, unable to drive, finally they willing to claim for me

Probably after this time I will. If they still say they unable to fix. Else gonna like you bro, wait until it cannot drive which is what I don't like. It's like a time bomb. Cars can have issues I think we all can understand that but it's the SC's inability to resolve it which makes it unbearable.

Hey all, some updates. The SC have managed to fixed 2 of the issues fairly quickly which are
1. Fuel pump.
2. Temperature sensor.

Ordered and replace the parts all within one day. Only left the coolant leak issue which they still have not found the actual problem.

what is the symptom if fuel pump have problem ha ? or totally break down only know ?  sad.gif

In my case, the symptom was that I found my car cannot get a stable engine startup during ignition. When started up it feels like it wants to stop and I have to keep my foot on the pedal to keep it started. A few days after this symptom, my car got a engine faulty message which led me to send my car in to a SC.
