I'm going for my 50k service due soon and the service centre informed that its gonna be a minor only.

I recalled that someone had post in this thread that 50k service cost him somewhere around rm3k which i doubt a minor..

Any opinion on this contradiction? Btw, i'm on 5 yrs free maintenance scheme..

Hi,

U might wanna check the driveshaft for any leak.. Happened to me last year.. Severe vibrate especially during accelerate from 60 to 100.. Before n after that speed vibration will dissappear..

Hi Peugeot Owner / car experts.

I had my 408 TL for nearly 2 months now and i have 2 issues that im dealing with

1. my car shakes very noticeably. going slow and even fast. you can see the passenger shaking left to right. not too sure why...
2. sometimes there is some slight jerk when pressing my brake or even trying to pick up the speed.

These 2 issues might be a result from the same problem, not too sure. But i know i have done wheel alignment and change brakes in the SC but still got this issue.

Hope someone here can help me to point out the issue so i can tell the SC what to do specifically to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

thanks kayyanne for replying my post.

Hmmm then it may seem that the driveshaft is responsible for many other issues as well.

If anyone else has this problem, i would like to have your input as well.

Kayyanne, did you get it fix under the warranty? is so, was there any other charges?

Its approaching closely to 60k

Done few over the phone survey.. Spare part shop sell RM220 per pair and its not ori(TSW something2 brand).. One SC quote RM500++ for complete installation.. Another SC quote RM 690++ without installation labor..

Funny eh?

Anyway, I guess for future easinest better go for SC instead fixed it outside since installation of break pad involve quite a few other under warranty major part like driveshaft, absorber, break hub etc...

What do u guys think?

How many km? Not sure of price@SC,but will be cheaper at non SC workshops. Will not affect warranty.
Good move bro. Did it fit well into the battery compartment?

Brake pad change is a simple job, will not spoil any of the parts you listed. However if you feel peace of mind, then go to SC la!
