How is the performance so far

Griffe 408 comes with 18" Rims.
Hows the performance?

They must have release the car in a hurry or parked it somewhere for a long time.

This is only the tyres which are stocked for sometime. How about other parts in the car.
This is a CKD model right. Anyone knows where is it assembled?

How long are they stoked there? With so many issues about paint job and rubber seal on doors.
I think its due to the cars parked out there for a long period in Gurun under hot sun.

Does anyone has any information about how CKD Peugeot cars are released from manufacturing plant and how long are they allowed to stock.

I haven't receive my car yet. Booking made about 7weeks ago. i had a bit of issue on the loan because the interest was sky high.
Finally made downpayment last week. Hope monday I will be able to roar the Prince out of the LION

After much pressure on the dealer. The car was out on 11th March. Everything on the car looked normal. Its a red lion with Griffe package.
Leather seat & 18"Rims. I was busy driving it around that I didn't update here. Can I know do we need to run the car at certain speed limit/RPM's for the beginning 1000km since its new.

I work in Terengganu. Which part do you intend to go? Or did you already hit the road
Its the best time to go because just last year they completed the Bukit Kuang flyover in Kemaman.
That road was under construction almost 5years and filled with poth holes.

There is actually a new highway in Terengganu. I think you can already drive through it on certain stretch of road, its the best time to go since the highway has not started to charge Tol yet.

In an emergency is it okay to Jumpstart our 408?

Yesterday I kissed a wira. The car in front of him made a emergency break. My driver's side fender is dislocated and banded. I have scratches on the door side as well. Do you think its better to repair at a workshop or sent to Peugeot to claim insurance. Its not even 1 month yet

Yes I did the police report today. I wanted some views from those who already had the trouble after accidents.
I already expect the parts would be expensive. If anyone here has the inventory for parts list would be helpful.
Before I bought the car, I asked the salesman for this, he said it can be arranged. But it never happened.
I think its good since the insurance going to bear the hefty sums for parts replacement.

It seems the paint itself will cost more than 1k. Not included the fender bender, broken front grille, broken light bracket & no plate.
Since my NCD is 0%. insurans & roadtax was borne by the SC when I purchase the car, i think its better t claim insurans
But its still looks like a minor repair, at the moment i can still drive the car without a glitch.
Anyone know which is the best SC for easiest and fastest to process this kind of repairs?

Initially I had the same problem. My car was just a week old then. It happened night, then the next day again.
I am just worried it would occur again. Peugeot need to see this issue seriously. Its okay if its happening to cars 3years or above.
This aircond unit is build in France and brought in to Gurun for assembly or manufactured somewhere here?

I had an accident damage almost like yours.
I try to avoid hitting the front car when it applied emergency brakes due to
another car infront of it made a emergency break.

I felt like the ABS didn't kick in well, or probably I was too close.
My damage looked very minor that you can't spot the dent and scratch from a distance.

I got a shock when the SC quoted the price. Because it was under warranty,
parts will be replaced. I am fine with that as long as it was the way it looked before.

Front grill & no plate cracked, right fender dent & head light brackets broken,
scratch mark all the way from front right fender all the way through both right doors.
Front right tyre slightly chipped and wheels lightly scratch.

The whole replacement going to cost the insurance company RM30k.
I had a shock hearing this.
I realize 408 parts doesn't come in cheap.

Guys, always drive safely and keep a distance from the car infront.
