I just changed my front brake pad last weekend. Recommended by the mechanic who changed my tyres. Only RM295 per set. Locally made. Haven't got the chance yet to test the brake at high speed but so far no different from stock brake pad during city driving.

hey bro, u r right about the DS5. my SIL is driving it. Its a damn beautiful car. When i first saw it also, straight fall in love with that french chick. The interior is also super. But same like u lah....way over my budget to maintain this french chick

Eh!  Is the Temperature Sensor on the 408s are still an issue?
Very problematic my friend said.  His 408 temp sensor, changed twice...still problem!!!!
How come this sensor not reliable one?   

I believe the temp sensor is problematic.
Few members here claimed before.
Mine also giving problem.

My temp used to be always 90'c chun chun, but now running between 80'c and 90'c, complaint to SC, SC reply this is ok as long as not over 90'c. Refuse to change for me.

Will cont monitor this and see how is it.

it's not only over 90c they will change, but must be over 100c. 
how i know?  because at one time, i tried to change mine.

anyway, engine temp will not always be the same (My temp used to be always 90'c chun chun).  It will go up and down within the safe range. 

unless it is a japanese car, the temperature gauge will show you the average temperature, which is why if you notice, their needle always stay the same, until something goes wrong.

If the only way you'll be satisfied is having your temperature gauge settle on one spot and stay there, no matter what, you might want to visit your local Toyota dealer, or superglue your temperature gauge. Short of that, it's always going to be on the move.

eh still cheap le..where is the shop ??. i able to find one at kota tinggi then they quoted me at 3++ for oem parts and 500 for original parts. now im thinking change at the peugeot service centre is better cost me only 4++ only.

Well... if u own a VW now... u will be impress over the good service in their SC... my friend who drive Polo (tat about 3 month old), so far so good...never see him complaint... and he also claimed that their SC is doing well too ...
anyway i believe due to many incident VW had make a good effort to improve their SC...

maybe potential buyers are waiting for the new 308 and 408, and the facelifted 508 as well.
