QUOTE(mtbk3 @ Aug 26 2014, 04:50 PM) lowpro....as per your last sentece, What are the few key causes for the "depollution' to pop up??? Thanks.... fouling of the intake valves cracked hoses dump valve issues those are just some usual issues with early engines. don't really hear much of them in later engines.

QUOTE(vknight @ Aug 26 2014, 05:48 PM) Thats why bro told u to take turbo. Same price as NA but u like smooth ride instead of hard ride Actually I was aiming for 2.0 earlier as I prefer a more comfortable ride. But the price discount for turbo totally changed my mind... Can't imagine paying the same for both variance, which was supposed to have a 20k gap in the first place. SA also smart, being me test drive turbo for almost 20 min to poison me. 😝

I hope I don't disappoint anyone by switching camp.......hehehe. Not right away la and can't afford the price, still a big hole in the pocket! hey bro, u r right about the DS5. my SIL is driving it. Its a damn beautiful car. When i first saw it also, straight fall in love with that french chick. The interior is also super. But same like u lah....way over my budget to maintain this french chick After sales service wise, i dunno. havent ask her about it!

QUOTE(OrangBiasa @ Aug 26 2014, 09:09 PM) Hi, I just changed my front brake pad last weekend. Recommended by the mechanic who changed my tyres. Only RM295 per set. Locally made. Haven't got the chance yet to test the brake at high speed but so far no different from stock brake pad during city driving. eh still cheap le..where is the shop ??. i able to find one at kota tinggi then they quoted me at 3++ for oem parts and 500 for original parts. now im thinking change at the peugeot service centre is better cost me only 4++ only.

How come this sensor not reliable one? I believe the temp sensor is problematic. Few members here claimed before. Mine also giving problem. My temp used to be always 90'c chun chun, but now running between 80'c and 90'c, complaint to SC, SC reply this is ok as long as not over 90'c. Refuse to change for me. Will cont monitor this and see how is it.

Will cont monitor this and see how is it. it's not only over 90c they will change, but must be over 100c. how i know? because at one time, i tried to change mine. anyway, engine temp will not always be the same (My temp used to be always 90'c chun chun). It will go up and down within the safe range. unless it is a japanese car, the temperature gauge will show you the average temperature, which is why if you notice, their needle always stay the same, until something goes wrong. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r-c107-sl-...unning-hot.htmlFirst, is your car actually running hot? Modern cars tend to have the needle come up to one point and stay there, no matter what the road conditions (uphill, downhill, desert, snowstorm), and no matter what the engine is doing. They're designed that way, to keep your peace of mind. In reality, your engine temperature is always going up and down, that's why there's a thermostat in the car; to help stabilize the temperature and keep it in the range where your engine operates best.
Mercedes didn't do that. Your temperature gauge shows what your engine temperature is really doing. That means it will be higher on hot days, going uphill, in stop and go traffic, than it will be on cooler days, running on level ground at a constant speed. It will raise when you're sitting at idle when the temperature is 95F, and it will cool down when you start moving again. This is normal. If the only way you'll be satisfied is having your temperature gauge settle on one spot and stay there, no matter what, you might want to visit your local Toyota dealer, or superglue your temperature gauge. Short of that, it's always going to be on the move. This post has been edited by skyblu3: Aug 27 2014, 11:08 AM

Its normal Forced Induction Engine running with High Temperature thats why our fan keep running even switch off the engine...just monitor it to have spare at least 1 bar from the red line position..
