Hi, I'm from johor, so might not be convenient to buy from selangor. But I really like the white colour. To me the blue color just looks so old. Haha, no offence to other blue color owner, just my personal preference really...

It's almost the same price for the test drive car since its a Te version. So I don't think it's under my consideration. 128k minus 27k.

No major problems. Only few minor issues, which are actually qc issues. These have been fixed by SC, no one has returned to complain. SC are improving, maybe a bit of a delay due to greater volume. Hope Nasa is pro active to further improve service as sales has improved.

After 2+years of ownership, am very pleased with the car.

Unless you have new issues which they have not done before, then it will probably take some time. Like my gb issue. Slight jerk when shifting gears. And the sound when engaging to R.

But other than that, no issues. Very very pleasant owning it....

Thank you.

Normal behaviour of this GB, tend to hold at higher RPM.
At 35+-kmj is even irritating, hold at 3rd gear dont want to up shift.
Nowadays I always drive with MT mode, unless traffic jam.
*
Really is normal??? Coz im facing the same thing. It is very very reluctant to shift up. Sometimes in slow moving traffic, it just holds on to 2nd gear. Even until 2.5k rpm. I also becoz of this, use manual mode all the time. I can shift at 2.3k rpm. Hehehehe. Save petrol.

But do you all have a problem with gb jerking when up shifting gears? I have a slight jerk everytime i up shift. Is not a big or uncomfortable jerk. Just slightly. Is this normal as well???

in manual mode? yes.

in auto, barely noticable.

if it gets worse, book your visit to your nearest SC tongue.gif

Mine is in both auto and manual. As long as it is up shifting, i can feel the slight jerk. Why ah? Normal?

Thanks

QUOTE(eusened @ Oct 23 2014, 01:12 PM)
Something unfortunate happened to me on Tuesday. I was involved in a road rage.

Venue: LDP, Sunway Tol. From PJ to Puchong.
Time: Around 7:30pm

It was slow traffic and I am lining up to pay the tol. I am actually 1 car away from the booth and this young boy was trying to take over me from my left. He was originally at my back. Frankly, due to the location I was that time, I never expect someone will take the opportunity to over take me at the spot, 1 car away to pay tol.

When I saw the car in front has passed the tol, i proceed and 2 seconds later, my side mirror hit his side mirror. He stopped. At the point, I taught that it is just a small matter and was thinking "WTF he is trying to do". So I pay and I passed the tol.

After he has also passed the tol, he tried to over take me and he stopped my car. Came down, knock on my car and start shouting to me. He asked me for money because of that incident. I told him that it is he fault and he said:" Cant you just let me go 1st?".

I replied, "Why dont you wait?" He cannot accept it and continue to ask for money. So I proceed and tell him that make a police report and claim my insurance. Then he started to threaten me:"Nowadays 'we' (dont know who he is referring to) dont make report. You better watch out for my friends to find you out".

We left the scene after that. At the point of the time, I am thinking should I make a report then I make some calls to my friends. One of them told me to make a report, so I did. Report as an accident happened. Then the sarjan told me that he can do nothing on it and advised me to make a report under crime department.

I tried to sleep on it and it makes me insomnia. Should I give the young boy a chance? Or I should proceed to teach him a lesson? I am also worried about my family if thing goes worse. He might disturb me and my family after or even without me doing the report. How? icon_question.gif
*
To be honest, i highly doubt the boy will do anything. Just trying to pull a quick one on you. But then again, i hate all these type of low-life pariah uneducated mot***Fu**** bus-3rd. So i will just report it. Just so if anything happen, you can make a report and the first suspect will be the young boy. Then at the same time, i will also call "friends" to look out for the car and "teach" him or his car a lesson if can find. But during the "lesson" do not use your own car just incase he recognise it.

Keep some form of a self-defense item in your car. Nothing too big or too small. Something hard and can move quickly with it. It comes in very very handy.

If all else fail, keep a steering lock and then shout CDM25!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be safe my friends......

QUOTE(Hannibal @ Nov 5 2014, 01:34 PM)
Hi Sky bro, are you sure bumpy is alright? It's like if someone is using laptop behind me the whole laptop will shake up and down. Somebody mentioned in an earlier thread that his tyreman commented that there's 'flat' problem with the old stock tyres, which could lead to bumpy ride? Take note the bumpy situation is worse after my tyre change.
*
Try taking your car to a straight and smooth road which you know and which u are familiar with. Drive it there. Is the bumpy-ness still there? You are more or less to have it. Because the 408T suspension, as mentioned by SKYjack, is sports tuned. So its harder compared to the 2.0NA or other car in this category. It will react to any road uneven-ness or SMALL holes or even rough surface. You are meant to feel all this for better road feedback. But if lets say you are driving on the straight smooth road, an it is still terribly bumpy, then get it check.

Does it happen only when you going fast? Or slow also like that?

Tyre pressure also plays a part. Have you check you new tyre pressure?

What car are you driving previously?

Hi mtbk3 bro,

I drive to Singapore from KL almost 3 times a month so my experience is based on north south highway. I also ensure tyre pressure is correct. This only happen when I go above 120km/hr or so. I drove a Ford Fiesta before this and it is more stable (great car).

May I also check what is the number shown above the total trip meter? Eg: My car have clocked 9200km but there's a 1599.3 shown above, what does this number means?
*
Hi Hannibal,

If above 120km/h then only it happens, i think is normal. Because, like mentioned earlier, the suspension is stiffer. So when the road is uneven or rough, and at that speed, you are bound to feel the road condition, hence, bumpy. Your fiesta previously the suspension is softer compared to 408T, hence it absorbs the road condition, giving u a feel of a smoother ride. My 408T also like that. On uneven road, my body will swing left and right and up and down in the car. Now worst a little bit. But when in corners, is damn steam.

But if you are still worried, send it to SC and give it a check. Because honestly, we cant really judge just by reading the word "bumpy" as we dont know to what extend the "bumpy-ness" is.

Hope this help cool2.gif

Are you driving for long distance more ? Some reports that claim that RON95 fuel are better for short distance travelling  while RON97 fuel is better choice for longer distance travelling.  hmm.gif
*
Im not sure about that. But my driving is a mixutre of city use and highway. I have been using RON95 when i got the car this Feb. After few months, i change to RON97. And i get better mileage. Same driving pattern. But when u tekan the car often, or often do spirited driving, the fuel consumption will go down very fast. U can actually noticed the needle going down. Hahahahaha. When i us ron95, my average is about 400km-430km. When im on ron97, my average now is 470km-500km.

Im not sure where it comes from. But is definitely that area. Could be speedometer or the thing protruding out on top of the speedometer. My suspect is speedometer.....
