you kiss people car , claim insurance lose NCB 55%, you can only claim ur car if you made police report and kena fine by police cos you kiss people car.

go workshop you know quote for repair, if 1+k suggest u fork out urself n repair it.

If more then claim insurance ... Pigot SC parts are very expensive , last time a van kiss my lion 2 week car... 12K repair bills i claim the van la

in SC they change new parts only no knocks, whole back bumper and boots cover, lights, crash bar inside the bumper.

All this have to imported, so order early n wait for 2 weeks while driving the car... The boots cover is 3K, the back light is 2K plus , bars another 2k plus, 1 ks for the bumper

10K for parts and 2 k for labours. Since is claim other parties dont cares

Bro NCB 55% about Rm 1600, once lost take 5 year to collect back . With NCB about 1500 for 100k but year 2 is about 75k so calculate is worth ? If worth go claim , as soon police result report out ,submit it to ur insurance.. call ur insurance early to get for adjuster.

One of the better SC seri kembangan , contact her. ask the details you need to submit to them.

Sutha A/P Mahenthiran <sutha@naza.com.my>

Better claim insurance then, availability parts could be sticky issues, could take 2-3 weeks,

As long you can drive it without danger... drive it.

But the puchong SC is the main store where they keep their spare parts stock...I will going there next monday for 10K service. According to them they are using TOTAL engine oil. Not petronas engine oil as other SC

Rumour la, 308 running lack of power with petronas synthium , So i stick with TOTAL.

It only make sense to used current THP 165 that used in 408,previous 308, 508,3008,5008. For cost purpose and spare parts storage and skill set to fix.

The current THP 150 i suspect is retune THP 165. All engine internal should be the same.
Only the 6 speeder maybe is a updated mechanically from AISIN.

Else imagine the SC had to learn to fix the new THP 150....they go the better services and support and waits months for spare parts.

Good and bad bro

Remapped, can tune the power curve and torque to match your requirement
Racechip you tune yourself to 1 preset power curve and torque.

But then how come other cars like my Honda city doesnt have this kind of problem?
The brake discs for the front two tyres was already changed as i complained about vibration during braking when i got the car for only two months. Before changing the brake disc there are no screeching sound coming out. After changing, the brakes starts to produce screeching sound. the brakes disk replacement was done in NUSAJAYA SC and i asked them why is there screeching noise they say it will go away after some time and they are not willing to do anything about it mad.gif  . Then i went to the PLENTONG SC they checked for me but i think they just washed out the dust and returned the car to me. I have attached pictures of the brake disc and pads. My car is due for 10k service next week, what can i ask them to do???

So much for a "European car" mad.gif , its very time consuming whenever i need to go to the SC, I have attached a picture of the brake disk and pad, please advice me on what to do for my next visit and thanks for all the replies and advices you guys are really helpful  biggrin.gif  thumbup.gif

Another good practice when the car is cool down... wash the rims with clean water...just using high pressure from the main pipe, you notice alot of brake dust will come out.... Black in color.

The noise is not normal for Peugeot, or any car for that matter. My Pug is exactly 3 years old this month. I'm still on my original brake pads and disc. No noise when braking.

From the photos, your disc are in  good shape, which means the pads are not worn. It's really difficult to say what is wrong without a physical inspection. I suspect NAZA is using cheap quality brake pads. Especially since SC can't find anything wrong! Due to heavy discounts, they are probably cutting corners. As I said I'm still on original pads and after 3 years still working well, but then I paid premium price, buying the car upon initial release.

You probably can solve it by changing to better quality pads.

Pad should be standard across , may difference year and made... problem with brake is depend on how to you used it. Everyone braking is difference. The first 500km after getting a new car or just skim the disc brake and new brake pad ,Is critical... we need to be gentle on it.... to bake in the disc brake and pad.. A proper brake in will last for a long time without issues.

If you hard on the brake on 1st 500km , the disc and pad not break in properly , then the rest of usage is problem, squeaking and other issues like judder.

The only solution is to skim agian and replace all new pad..... assume the disc rotor and pump is good shape

Agree with you. Nowadays i saw a lot of people drive kaw2 straight afyer get the car keys. For the sake of testing. The engine may be run in by the factory but other part may not. It os important to take care the first 500-1000 km.

My lion is 8 month old and dont have any brake sound since day 1.
However rattling sound after 140km/hr still there rclxub.gif

Rattling sound over 140km ? inside or outside ? Some one in this forum said air con tube plastic holder broken it shake..... check it out...all the air con tube holder the plastic holder black color..
