Usually when we make payment through M2U it will be reflected in the card account the next day right? My payment yesterday afternoon is not reflected yet. Maybe I should call them..

I had the same issue as well. It seems that they had some problem with their server yesterday and in the midst of solving it by end of today.

My due date was yesterday and I make known to them that if any interest occurred should be waive as it's Maybank issue not mine plus I had good payment record as well.

Sometimes the update are slow I guess. Just make sure your transaction from savings stated you made the payment

I pumped petrol for less than RM100 just now but the SMS notification said I spent RM200. SMS system bug or what?

no, this is normal. usually rm200 or rm250 as pre-set amount. the correct value will be posted eventually.

this is normal if you used it at the pump, but the exact amount will be reflected after your transaction is done.
if you want the exact amount, you can always go inside to pay at the cashier.

That is a pre-authorization amount and it'll take up your credit limit.

Make sure you don't make several transactions of small amount at self service kiosk of the petrol station such as those would like to achieve with HLB Wise.

- So finally it is my turn for unauthorized usage. Received 2 SMS alerts for:

3.39 USD At Glory of Zion
166.95 USD At Fishwest

- This is for my Visa card which I have stopped using since Nov 2013.

- I contacted CS to report and found that there is another 200+ USD transaction.

- So my Visa card is blocked and I will receive a replacement card with new number within 5 working days.

- I can still use my Amex as usual.

- If the merchant claim the transaction within 7 working days and it appears on my M2U, I will have to submit the dispute form.

- No police report is required.

Add: I just checked M2U, the card has been blocked so I can't check if the transactions have been posted or not. So how do I file the dispute?

Yea, I called and got the same answer. The CS officer told me to check again tomorrow. Their IT team is working on getting all payments yesterday to be reflected.

Work of a hacker. I performed online transactions using this card only with Agoda.

Coz you mention stop using this card since Nov 13. I dont think
hacker will wait months only start using your card

Yup, last year on Agoda booking. The hacker could be using some sort of generator or something *shrug*
I don't dismiss the possibility of internal fraud though, remote, but possible.

does activation of MSOS help us to prevent internet fraud?

No. Because MSOS is not fully implimented around the world yet. USA itself have not fully implimented chip cards and 3DSecure so the room for fraud is still big!!
