The verification process is for account status (only do 1 time), or spending/receiving limit for the card.

Adding new card to the account not necessary need to verify.

And yes, other Mastercard/Visa charge in MYR10 (automatically set off if you purchase anything in MYR, ie TGV/GSC). The reason USD10 for Amex is due to Amex do not allow PayPal to charge in MYR.

Best to set the SMS alert on the minimum amount available. I receive SMS alert my Amex was charged USD1 by paypal, but I didn't register my credit card to paypal, call the bank and they help me block the card and issue a new one.

so far no issues with paypal, but seems like every week RM to USD is dropping. 3 weeks ago was 3.19, last week was 3.11. hard like this if earn in USD.

yesterday be4 i go collect my card i give them a call to ask is it my card done
(as usual they called to feline planet i guess, im on earth so cannot receive their call)
they do ask alot of questions for ID verifying,
including my address, & i passes that verifying, info correct,
they told me card done ready for collection @ 1u

then when i go collect my card....
i realize the address got mistakes..wrong house number, even wrong road,
only postcode & city state is correct = =
huge mistake from my real address
while all other info like phone number all correct.
question here: why i still can pass the ID verifying on the phone call?

btw. its my 1st time to have bank staff key in wrong information

This is the PP code referred earlier. No need to do anything, just pay using Amex in USD and the amount will be deducted first with the CC transaction.
