I have been doing this for more than 10yrs wedding photography.

1. Premier pro give higher quality video however takes time to learn, i pick it up from youtube.

2. Premier pro is rather complicated compared to final cut or imovie but more flexibility in the expense of duration it require to complete. If you shoot 3 wedding on weekends (Friday Sat Sun) you'll feel fucuk exhausted doing vids on PP

3. Wedding photography is not something you can go in easily especially actual day, coz u should know where to position yourself and how to lead, tag along with some well known photog n learn. Is not as easy as you think, I spend everyday at home editing photos during peak period regardless public holiday or not

Cool, im also interested in videography... well try to do part time work and learn after SPM u recruiting any newbies? or maybe just let me follow and learn after SPM? xD

I learned just thru youtube. Years ago on my first try, I spent one whole day just to watch tutorials. Then 2nd day I started actual video editing, while going back to the tutorials here and there. Now I feel like I can edit anything.

In time you can learn just by yourself thru hard work. Careful not to start a business very early, you need to know these basic stuff first before you dive yourself in this business.

HAHA I know exactly how you feel just sitting infront of the comp watch tutorials but sometimes when you wanna do something much special it'll end up cheesy and awkward....it's a matter of practice and experience, time can solve everything smile.gif
