I have been doing this for more than 10yrs wedding photography.

1. Premier pro give higher quality video however takes time to learn, i pick it up from youtube.

2. Premier pro is rather complicated compared to final cut or imovie but more flexibility in the expense of duration it require to complete. If you shoot 3 wedding on weekends (Friday Sat Sun) you'll feel fucuk exhausted doing vids on PP

3. Wedding photography is not something you can go in easily especially actual day, coz u should know where to position yourself and how to lead, tag along with some well known photog n learn. Is not as easy as you think, I spend everyday at home editing photos during peak period regardless public holiday or not

Don't just see the outside you need to venture more in depth do you think every week got job? Sometimes you get one job a month and not every job is RM2500 you have to cater those budget wedding couple too if you just wait only for RM2500 above job think can close shop pretty soon, sometimes 1K+ job need to take too. Remember there are ton of wedding videographers/photographers you need to compete.

I dont have to compete with anyone as I have more business than I can manage. Honestly there are very limited number of REAL wedding photographer with experience (at least min 50 weddings for actual day and 50% pre wed) others are all make believe.

Given the limited number of wedding photographers only a handful with enough experience to shoot Hotel (march in suddenly dim with spotlight, given manual setting u needa change everything especially WB)

Yes I can earn more than the figure above as you state, given i sacrifice weekends with family/gf, my health as I shoot AD on weekends Pre Wed on weekdays and every other day sit down n edit. I tried hiring people to edit, but somehow cant find those who is good enough or those who r good wont stay.

I used to train someone and now he is doing quite ok, but like every other business i do sometimes cut slack on editing. Because he is with me, he is well aware of these and he bad mouth to gain more business. Lucky for me i am looking to cut down my jobs because is really exhausting mentally and physically.

After more than 10 years doing so I felt that this is becoming a job rather than my hobby. Trust me choose photography because you like it not because of the money behind, you dont know what I gotta go through everyday
