It make zero sense geologically. Especially the one on the left. Why does it shaped like a C or a banana while the other sides are smooth as if it is weathered by a stream flow or something.

If DLC is your only concern in Grid 2, I think this wont be that bad. Autosport has around 80 cars at launch when you launch the game with zero Day 1 DLCs other than the free texture pack. Grid 2 has about 50 cars. Track wise, Spa and Bathrust are in the game from the get go, not DLC like Grid 2 which it was damn butthurt for me, I really enjoy racing on both tracks. Autusports released with 22 unique tracks, excluding layouts.

Also, they have Open Wheel as a separate classe where you get Formula 3, Formula A1 and Indycar in the game from the get go. There is also those road open wheels like KTM Xbox, Ariel Atoms, Caparo T1 and so on. You get all content from the day 1 when you launch the game.

Physics wise, I think it is closer to Grid 1 but I havent play yet so hard to say. I admit I liked what I saw so I preordered the game. Graphics and car damage is upgraded from Grid 2 which looks better in my opinion.

DLC wise, they will do a Season Pass that includes 3 min themed expansions, like probably a Touge based expansion or another one in the Le Mans circuit. There might be car packs too but other than that, I think it is a vast improvement over Grid 2's shitty DLC policy.

Touge was cut from the game for some reason, so I am expecting to see it return since people are asking for it. I kinda expected Le Mans to come back too considering it is a legendary 84 years old track. These are just what I expected, not confirmed facts. They had very much dumped their best content from Grid 1, Grid 2 and F1 2013 into one game.

You never know that they might cancel the whole thing, considering the sales seemed bad so far but only AU and US get to play the game so far.

Codemaster did said that they will improve DLC integration that will be better than Grid 2. Considering that they learn their mistake from Grid 2, like their True Feel physics engine doesnt work, maybe this time they will do it better?

You'll get all 5 car classes once you buy the game. They did not lock any release content behind a DLC this time which is way better than Grid 2.

You could buy the game now, once the Season Pass is out, you can get the Season Pass. You pretty much have the Reloaded version by then.

Look for Green Man Gaming and buy from them since its cheaper than Steam. If not buy from Impulse for RM90 then buy Season Pass later on with a GMG coupon to make it even cheaper. Shop around and you'll save more.

Most of them are fanboys of Assetto Corsa or Forza will hate this game. Codemaster does their racing games differently, as most other games feels like a cruise with other cars but Codemaster's racing games are more of a brawl as there are much frequent contacts. Those people just cant accept it that other racing games drives differently from what they liked so they just go on hating it on the basis it is different. The Gamespot review is probably the best example of a Forza fan hating the game.

IMO, i think it is just stupid to expect Grid to play like Forza or Assetto Corsa. They are made by completely different developers. It is the same as going into League of Legends, expecting it to play like Dota, then, hate it because it doesnt play like Dota.

Or play Battlefield expecting to be CoD.
Or play Bastion expecting to be Diablo.
Or play Company of Heroes expecting it to be Starcraft.
Or play Rush expecting it to be DayZ.

Open up your miond and stop expecting every game in a genre plays exactly the same as others.

IMO, Supergiant does make games about relationships in not very obvious way but it can be anything as they never base their themes on a central theme like most games. It just my interpretation that both Bastion and Transistors are love story in an indirect way.

The problem with those, they are Japan only and made with 10 years old tech.

Just imagine one with the full glory of Cry Engine with properly implemented gameplay and photo realistic graphics. We can make shooter that look like photos or extremely good so might be time to make another type of shooters. Cry engine is perfect for this kind of stuff. Small area with extremely high detail graphics while it totally sucked at open world in recent years.

Then, add Occulus Rift. Profit, i guess.



Seriously, it will never happen. You need 10 million or more to make those, then, how you gonna sell it when every major platforms from PS4 to WiiU to Steam will not sell your game. Also heard the voice acting is expensive, they charge by word counts apparently, while certain words are charged more than others.

We dont need Goat, Rock or some nonsense simulator.
