u should see the quality of the audio file itself

lossless?

or lossy?

and your DAC chips / amp

and finally your speaker / headphone

if you are serious about audio, check out audiphile section. but beware, the poison there is strong

Do you have a good sound card and good pair of speaker?

If your answer is no, then the quality of sound doesn't matter to you.

Thx reply.

So, from the same Blu ray disc, lossless can only be accessed by playing the whole disc with menus and everything, correct?

I noticed the bit rate can go up to 3000k ++.

if you ripped the Bluray yourself without converting, its still the same quality.
choosing individual files to play is the same too.
