i think more like they are underestimating panah too much...
didn't see them as serious threat since their score so bad so they pay the price....
it'll be risky to give any team an extra point in this stage...the tourney is too big to give even a point....
Yes. True. But they are all on top. Left few team games only before the bubble match which is even more tough. They won't fall very hard to me. One ban on Invoker which people trained 12345678 hours might be a heavy blow to Panah.

if saying VG pity them is ok, they are 7-1
NAR'US and Liquid pity them at last two matches of the day with their standing now? 10mils dollar at stake, possible they afford to pity anyone ah?
Of course 10 million is at stake. Sometimes team don't really think the money and do. It is based on their will whether they want to do very hard to get it. It's almost like 16-18+++ teams trying to make jackpot by using their life and dedication in Dota 2 to "kena" tepat as they can beat many teams alike.
What I tried to say is, the teams maybe underestimating them for some reason.

ti4, no such thg as pity la...the only obvious reason is that liquid felt they could handle ddz's highly rated invoker
Not pity but more to underestimating. Their the worse in the group already despite these few days.

It's a combination of being underestimated + gaining confidence. Less clumsiness today, especially from Lance.

I find your words more rational now. That's something you put in factors when we speak about constructive criticism.
