Honest question, why do some of you feel intimidated when invited by higher ranked players?

IMHO, if they invite you, they're not ashamed to play with you, and you should make the most of it by learning from them. Decision-making is hard to teach, and the best way to develop it is to play together and ask "Why did you do this?" or "Why did you prefer to buy item X over item Y?"

Also, a 3k player that queues with a 5k one will meet 4k players on average, and that gives you good experience on what to expect in the next bracket and how to get there.

As for D2, I've played with TFG, Misery, Pajkatt, and Johnny. Misery & Pajkatt are my favorites though, so chilled. I die gila gila also they say "Don't worry, we got this."

Why so? TI3 compendium is nothing compared to TI4 compendium with more hatzzzz and more feature to play around with.... Like the daily hero challenge, the 10 heroes win to gain points, the leveling feature to gain more HATZZZZ.. although I find the player card stamp still useless to stamp more than once... LOL
