Ah, okay. Anyways, I fear we're going down the HoN path - there will eventually come a time where the cosmetics start to overwhelm players.

Personally, I found the spells etc. too flashy. Teamfights became too chaotic, and I quit because of that. I still play mid wars with some of my friends from time to time, but now I can't even recognize some of the heroes due to their cosmetic items.

Entah la, maybe it's personal preference. I had a hard time adjusting to HoN graphics, but not D2's. That's why when Valve released their cosmetics modelling guideline I was quite impressed, but by the look of things, those guidelines have been thrown out the window.

Lol please dont do that... Im sure more effects will be available in the future and I dont want those annoying effects keep coming out randomly spoiling the game environment... Like Dota 1, the snow effect is very annoying if i remember correctly... Still prefer the original or minimalistic effect

i think the best way is still make it work like HUD / announcer. player equip it and other players can choose whatever they want.
you can't force someone with low graphic computers to equip even more effects

It seems that pinoys aren't just the worst players in SEA. Indons and Thais are joining that useless farm-till-the-world-end wagon too.

Had near-60 mins games where we had the upper hand throughout the game until the last 5 mins because my team doesn't wanna push and is screwing around because they have the upper hand. Keep trolling and in the last 10 mins, got teamwiped and opposing team GG'd the game.
