Hi guys, I am currently still researching for the laptop I will buy. I am currently planning to get a Lenovo G50-70 xxxxxx series. It comes with an AMD Radeon R5 M230 2GB GPU and I wanna ask about how it's performace? (I don't expect too much la, can play latest game smoothly on full resolution + low med graphics is enough).
Anyone using the same GPU can give some review or advice?

QUOTE(ghyeng @ Jun 18 2014, 02:05 PM) It's an entry level card which is not good for gaming. You'll most likely get below 30 or even unplayable fps even on low settings playing the latest demanding titles (recently released, eg Watch Dog and soon-to-be released, eg AC Unity). Better get at least a Nvidia GT 740M/840M/750M if you plan to play these demanding titles, or build a desktop instead. I see. Because I am studying overseas so bringing my desktop over is out of option. LoL. And my current budget range I am only able to afford such cards: GT720M/GT820M/HD8670M or either R5 M230 only... Anyway my main game will be Dota 2, if it's smooth then I don't care lol, not really into gaming anyway, just trying out new titles, low graphics setting is also acceptable. QUOTE(elblink @ Oct 10 2014, 09:17 PM) sanderzHow did the R5-M230 work for you? Is it sufficient in gaming? Am also looking at this and comparing to the NV gpu. End up I bought Dell Inspiron 15 3537 with 2GB HD 8670M. Not R5 M230 Graphics.
