I dun understand something about paypal. Everyone keep saying that paypal do not charge fee unless it involve oversea current which need conversion. But my last purchase with xiaomi malaysia cost RM 769. I have RM 20 balance in paypal. So they charge me RM 749 from credit card. But my credit card statement today show that the amount charge is RM 754.99. Shouldn't it be RM 749 since they dun charge fee ? Just want to be clear with this paypal system.

p/s : The paypal statement show a breakdown correctly, RM 749 from credit card, RM 20 from paypal account. Problem only arise when my credit card show the statement.

I see. But the paypal statement show the price correctly. Only when my bank statement come, it charge 0.8%. Ya, they did charge RM 10 for verification purpose, but even the RM 10 they charge show up in my bank statement as RM 10.08. also charge 0.08%. Maybe my bank is charging the 0.8% ?

Ya i use CIMB credit card. Now I see. Then which bank credit card do not charge for cross border when link to paypal in singapore. Thought paypal malaysia processing center is in Malaysia.
